I don't what I was on that made me want to rent this thing.

I figured since Viggo was good in the Lord of the Rings series, he would be good in this too but I was wrong. He plays this sorta, old timey cowboy character running in a 3000-mile horse race through the middle east.

The movie never really "picked up" for me. It was just bland from start to finish with no high point or climax really. I wouldn't recommend this movie to anyone.

Oh, the movie jacket at Blockbuster said the movie had lots of breathtaking special effects, this is not true. The only effects worth noting was a 30-second scene where computer generated leopards attack a horse. It looks so cheesy and shitty it made me want to turn it off right there. 8(
