Sorry, but Texas is further west than the "Deliverance" locales. Instead of ass raping visitors, they're more inclined to just shoot them. Of the last 400+ people put to death in the U.S. for criminal activity, over half were executed in the great state of Texas. Ah yeah, that's a figure of which to be proud!
Hell, they're still pissed off that the Federal government won't let them invade Mexico. In fact, Texas can't wait for the U.S. to dissolve into raging anarchy so that they can finally become their own country.
