i found this recently at the Hive. i'm trying to track down exactly what it means, ie what do the gramme amounts in the second schedule mean, and i'll let y'all know as soon as i know...
if anyone has any clues please share...
oh another good tip if you are looking for a specific chemical in this list; use the "find in page" function in netscape to search the list (control f).... i'm sure there's an equivalent in IE

The drugs you listed have an ampthetamine amine chain, which is quite dissimilar to the propylthiophenethylamine amine chain.

I guess we've probably have half of these funny chemicals mixed in with our unknown purity pills....the wonderful concoctions of backyard chemists.
But as they say..don't believe em...there all local speed bombs

But i guess if you tried each of these chemicals..one by one..each weekend, you wouldn't build a tolerance and the next time that chemical came around on your weekend to do list, then it would be all new to you once again.
You wouldn't have to worry about loosing that first wonderful feeling of e.
But it may turn you into a wacked out loon( though shulgin didn't turn this way)

what exactly does the prescibed substance mean?
I thought the minimum illegal amount.
But I don't think I could have that much cannabis or coca leaf and not get done. Ummmm yeah what's it mean?

Also, "AMT, alpha-methyltryptamine", a very effective plant food, or so I hear, is not illegal.
None of the chemical names could not be found in any of the schedules:

I'm sure tryptamines are legal.
I actually ordered alpha-methyltryptamine (AMT) from California. It costed me about A$200 for a little green bottle of it pure.
I'm not sure whether some of you already know about the story, but I'll outline the sketchy details. The company is gone because of an incident when the guy who was running it went crazy on an aeroplane and caused trouble. Then the authorities found out he was selling legal but questionable chemicals, some of which they noted were related to GHB synthesis (which I think is outlawed there). So they did a raid and charged him.
I got some people to try the AMT and they liked it. I didn't get a chance to try it myself. Someone stole the bottle.
Tryptamines are naturally occuring in a few native plants here. I did quite a bit of research a couple of years ago. Some of the native plants that contain tryptamines are:
acacia phlebophyla
acacia maideneii
phalaris arundinacea
phalaris aquatica
Phalaris is actually quite a common grass here, and I think the seeds are used as bird food. The common name is "Reed canary grass".
dimethyltryptamine is a short-lasting (~15 minutes) yet probably the most intense and out-of-this-world psychedelic substance that exists, you'll understand if you read the DMT trip stories around. It is an _extremely_ interesting naturally occuring and legal substance, though probably scary for the less adventurous who just want to party and be happy.
There's quite a few resources on the net that explains how to extract DMT from the natural sources. I haven't had the time to try it, but I actually bought phalaris seeds to grow the grass. I even bought dried acacia phlebophylla leaves. I Haven't done anything with these.
I'd like to know whether anyone here has any knowledge and experiences with tryptamines.

I've just read in other messages that DMT is illegal. I'm surprised since it exists in a very common and non-outlawed grass here in Australia.
It's been a long time since I did my research on tryptamines, so I can't really remember about the legalities and whether they've changed.
I'd still like to know some of your experiences with DMT and other tryptamines. And also how you got them e.g. by extraction from the grass. So how about posting some stories in the "Other drugs" forum?

i also have the starin of grass, but havent found a very good extraction method as yet, some ive found are OK but not very well written, and kinda vague
I thought this would be high on every-ones list, I mean, c'mon, an intense ride from grass? apparently 1 mow of your average lawn would yeild enough phalaris for a year...
and im still dead keen to see how much weirder it could be compared to salvia.
So any-one with any new extraction methods?
