GHB Melb

Has anyone noticed the length one must go to in order to obtain GHB in melbourne lately???
I haven't been able to easily get my hands on the stuff for ages.....
any explanations?

Now that the US has made it Sched 1, naturally Aus had to follow! (Damn that annoys me).
Don't try mail order, the feds will find it, trust me I know someone its happend to. They tried to charge him with 'intent to manufacture a dangerous date rape drug'...

Did Ur friend get penalised for importing GHB or GBL? Did he import GBL and "intended to manufacture a date rape drug" or did he try and import GHB itself?
I ask this because the last time I checked the Aus government had no fucking idea what the GBL could be used to make. Also it was freely sold as a solvent for electronic and chemical use.
Did he try to import several tens of litres of the shit? If he did then I could understand why he was questioned. Did he get away with? What did he use as an excuse?
Sorry for the questions but curiousty is killing me. Thanx a load!
