OK, by now I think most of us have seen the busts going on.
The news told of 4 guys (1 from Netherland) coureiring yellow pills (possibly mitsi's or rolling stones) from Melbourne to Sydney.
What I want to know is "How many Pills constitute a commercial quantity of pills"
Obviously 200,000 is a commercial qty.
But what about a 10/20/50 pack???
Does anyone know for sure?

Not for sure but I have a general idea :)
I reckon up to 2 or 3 is considered for personal use.
Anything above that would possibly considered a commercial quantity.
It is always best to divide pills among friends.
Then everyone has his "personal use" quantity and it will be a lot harder for cops to charge anyone for distribution purposes.
I don't know about Australia but this happened to friends of mine who went to the Love Parade in Berlin this year.
They were stopped at the Dutch/German border.
Their car was stripped to the engine and everything was found (4 persons and some 16 pills plus some weed, speed and coke).
However, these cops were very nice.
Before my friends were charged, they were told to put an equal amount of pills (and all other found items)in every bag, each representing everyone's personal use.
They were only charged for this,
not for dealing or distribution.
The lesson : divide (and rule)
:)

a friend of mine who knows all the rules pretty well told me that over 15 pills is considered to be a commercial quantity (ie. for dealing purposes).
aj, i only wish the cops in australia were as nice as the ones in germany!!

personally i would consider 100+ a comercial quantity... but i aint sure about what the law would think....

Well this is just cut and paste and I hope it helps in anyway

though this is for possesion and well I hear it goes.
less than 10g GHB (0.25g for E) but enough for the cops to think you
might be supplying: $5000 and/or up to two years imprisonment
between 10g and 50g (1.25g E): $10000 and/or up to two years
between 50g and 1.0kg: $200000 and/or up to 15 years
between 1.0kg and 4.okg: $350000 and/or up to 20 years
over 4.okg: $500000 and up to life
So if they are any indication then go figure.
Oh yeah this is a good site : http://www.austlii.edu.au

Sorry dru, but how many pills would 0.25g equal (maths not so strong)
Anyway, would 50 get me in trouble???

loon, 0.25g=250mg. this is about 1-2 pills max. now, dont know about you, but 2 pills doesn't seem like a commercial quantity to me!!
usually a pill weighs between 200-300mg (ie. 0.2-0.3g), so boikahs estimate is spot on!
