did anyone hear the story/interviews just on triple J, prolly less than an hr ago now.. (WA)

about the pollies being allowed to drink in parlament..
and the greens pretty much getting crushed when they tried to suggest guidelines to have sober pollies on the job..

peoples thoughts..?

ill try find something on the web about it... currently in class atm.. so might not have time..
 
yeah it's a joke that these wankers can be blind at work attempting to run the state!

if it is good enough for them.......why not for the rest of us?

it's funny when they, the pollies, have recently introduced drug/alcohol testing of train drivers here in NSW, but it's OK for them to be pissed at work.

love to know what Workcover and their workplace insurers would say about it.

Wouldn't we all get pissed too if it was at the tax payers expense. We'll see all the alco's lining up at there localgov office wanting a job
 
Bah, how can you trust the people who make the rules to make fair rules for themselves?
 
It's good that they are drunk! Don't forget, the British Empire was ruled for 400 years by people who were basically drunk the whole time and it never did them any harm. They simply couldn't fathom conquering a native people before 11 am and without at least half a dozen gin's under their belt =D
