Do you wish you could change your bluelight name and why

Dont you wish u can turn back time and change the nickname u have on BL when u joined .... or atleast for BL to have a function where you can alter your nickname ...

i signed up over a year and a half ago (i think) and back then PLUR and candee was plentiful so a random nickname to match was xtc.kittie ..... a year and half passes .... realisation that this is the gayest and most stupidest nickname anyone can have is now apparant .... waaaaaah i wanna change it dagnammit!

wHiTeBoY sounds like the kinda name a whiteboy gangster would have! The only reason I registered as whiteboy here was coz that's what my friends back high school called me as a joke....coz one of my best friends was this big black dude and i was this little white guy so they called him Chilli and me whiteboy.....

otherwise i hate the name

I have no idea why I chose this name... probably coz the person who introduced me to bluelight was Queenbeat, and I had no idea of what names were cool etc. SO, basically I went with what I knew, and what first cmae into my head.... I now regret it 8)
 
there is a function - it's called re-registering and retiring the nickname you use.
 
i won't say what my old nick was, but i was about 16 at the time and got sick of the embarassment of being referred to as.. oh, fuck it.. "elLOVESbass"
so i had to reg. again with something no one can make fun of, because it's my real name anyways. well, they make fun because i'm so uncreative, but that's all.

has gotten me into a lot of trouble, but at least i have self esteem! ;)

Some people, like me just like to keep their post count. This is now my third bluelight nick and I am sick of it as I am no longer a raver.

I too, like my post count and never attached my nick to some passing phase with coloured plastic and dyed hair
 
I changed to Shnouzerpuff after my last nick circlecircus.

I just hated circlecircus. It was my generic username for anything that required signing up because it linked to my hotmail addy.

After 1 year of that changed it to Shnouzerpuff because it was a word I made up which sounds awesome when you say it out loud.

If i could change it now?

I would modify it to...

"shnouzer" which is what ppl tend to call me and what i use on irc anyway.

But I cant be bothered losing a postcount again and being treated like a naive greenlighter for the 3rd time ;)
 
Nah i'm still happy with my nickname tnargus....

i have tnargus for everything....email addresses, usernames, nicknames everything...its great because it is unique so i can go to any site or accounts and register it as me, and no one before me has had it :)

I was also thinking that when i get my shit together and become a producer/dj that will be my name too...and it'll be cool cause everyone says it the wrong way...so I would know who my 'true' fans were cause they would know how to pronounce it correct ;)

Space_dolphin is ok i suppose... back when i chose it i was a much more cheery person, but it still defines me in a way.

If i were to change my nick now i'd probably go with Method... cos thats what i use in chatrooms, its ... i dunno.... more conservative i guess
 
after lurking around for a while, and finally reading something on here that made me want to post .. i made the big rush decision of GillyWin

Its absolutely ridiculous and sounds dumb, i should probably change it. But i am a lazy bugger.

(it was a stupid 'pet name', and the person who used it is an arse) :)

If there was a change name function (other than re-registering) it would probably just make it harder to recognise posters? Unless they use the same avatar.
 
No, I don't feel the need to change mine. I've no idea what I'd change it to, being that Anna is my name. And I like my little exlamation mark - although I only put it on the end initially because "anna" was taken, I've now come to tell people it symbolises how obnoxious I am. It's not "Hi, I'm Anna", it's "I'M ANNA LOOK AT ME LOOK AT ME!"

Ever so glad I didn't register a name with "xtc" or "pill" or "rave" etc in it. You'd have to be a real dickhead to do that.

Nah mine's ok, even if I do sound like a pornographic cartoon character. :)

It's a silly nickname my boyfriend uses for me occasionally, and it suits me as an SLR mod for sure... plus it can be shortened nicely (SLM). I do feel like a right tool saying it out loud at meetups though :D
 
Meh id re-register but whats the point ... i say make a function to change yur nickname dagnammit!
 
I want to change my nick to hornybipillheadmuntedraverfuck21 but wazza is short for kate (my real name)
