I'm just wondering what the effects are of using Zyban and doing coke, smoking weed, or doing E?...
I'm sure this has been asked before, if so please just point me in the right direction...

aka Wellbutrin ... there is no real risk though you shouldn't combine the two... when you take it with ecstasy, the effects of the ecstasy will be cut down greatly.. it doesn't have much effect on cocaine... and nothing will really alter the effects of the ganja ..

Why is it that when takin with E the effects are diminished? Is it a SSRI?

It's not a ssri.It still does inhibit the uptake of serotonin, but it's main effects are on dopamine's uptake. So That should influence the effects of cocaine.

Ok I am sure this has been covered pretty well. Wellbutrin is a weird drug, It is NOT an SSRI and does NOT effect seratonin levels (as if we could really measure them well) all that much via uptake blockade or MAO inhibition. It primarily acts to increase NE and DA levels. It does this in a novel way, that they don't understand really yet. (http://www.mentalhealth.com/drug/p30-b04.html#Head_2)
It has less of an impact on E than SSRI’s do. But according to some, decreases the effects of MDMA. Wellbutrin can increase the chance of a seizure as can MDMA. So this is something to consider if you have ever had one, or ever will. Short term Wellbutrin doesn’t seem to cause too many problems in combination with E. Coke, or Weed. Although I have read scattered reports about wellbutrin and THC causing psychotic episodes. ( which weed can do on it’s own on occasion ). You will probably have to find out for your self how the combination of these drugs works for you. They don’t do a lot of studies on this stuff unfortunately as there is little government funding for projects related to the use of illegal drugs.

I have taken the combination of Wellbutrin and E. I did not notice any decrease in the pleasure of the E. Needless but that shit did not work for me and I am still smoking.
