Zops or EsZops?

What is the difference, if any, between Zopiclone and Eszopiclone?

I have had zopiclone on many occasions; VERY handy for sleeping after a stimulant bender (took 5 x 7.5mg and slept for nearly 48 hours).

Is Es any more recreational than zop?

What's anyone's thoughts on zapelon? I'm yet to try this also.

In fact I never tried EsZops... but let's say these two medicines are exactly the same, not structuraly of course, but the active ingredient in Zops IS EsZops (right stereo-isomer).

I dont know the details, but eszopiclone is twice as potent and has fewer anticholinergic (think benadryl) side-effects than zopiclone. Generally, it is agreed upon that Zolpidem is the most recreational and visual, followed by zaleplon and then zopiclone. I abused the shit out of zopiclone anyway.

Ah, yes, disgeusia or wtvr. It Reminds me of the scene in the matrix where Neo has the Liquid mirror metal enveloping him. Except mine is more of a metal tasting mucous-coated throat feeling. It can also makes food look and taste bad IME.

Anticholinergic side-effects? I think the wikipedia is wrong here. I once took as much as 15 tablets of zopiclone and I didn't experience any typical anticholinergic symptoms(dry mouth, dilated pupils, urinary retention), but I got bad hiccups and auditory hallucinations instead.

Eszopiclone is the dextrorotatory stereoisomer sold as Lunesta. I believe it's more potent than the racemic mixture

same as that,if i eat any food or drink any drink within 24 hours of zopiclone use then the food/drink tastes rancid.

for this reason ive stayed away from zopiclone.
