So this is my first live (if that's what it's called) trip report. Hope you guys enjoy :)

Note: I was really tripping as I wrote most of this so some of it may seem a bit weird... :/

10:20 PM
: I just now dosed on 15mg of ambien (along with 200mg of my lamictal prescription) and now I'm gonna wait for the effects to kick in. My beds a fucking mess, I'm a clean that shit up.

10:30 PM
: Stepped outside to smoke a square and I kinda feel like shit actually, Just a little.

10:45 PM
: Never mind, no more shit feeling. And I think I feel it coming on now, slowly but surely. I looked over at the mirror in my room and could only see my head because the rest of my body was being blocked by pool table. But for some reason, the sight of my head in the mirror seemed kinda weird, it made me jump a little.

10:55 PM
: Aaand it hit me just now, with a BOOM. I guess the previous feelings were all just placebo or what not. So I'm sittin here, feelin a little trippy. I coulda sworn I just saw a bird fly right past my head, even tho I'm inside my room.

11:10 PM
: Ok so now the trip has turned into more of a "Uuuhh...wtf is this shit????" Basically I'm just sitting in my bed and the random obsticals in my room such as shoes, clothes, sheets, and even shadows all just came to life. It's extremely hard to type all of this.

11:30 PM
: Hahaha omg so this is pretty fuckin crazy. I'm a guy getting high off of ambien. And I'm writing a report. But it's so hard to write the report when the keyboard sways and jiggles. So yea im havin lotta trouble keepin all these 'summoned' creatures away from me so I can focus on my work (my work being journaling my trip). There always seems to be an unfinished objective that me or any of the summoned ambien creatures have for us to finish and they put it all on me. So they tell me (we talk to each other through our brains by reading each others minds) that somethings goin on and I'm like "alright just hol up, I'm a be done typin this soon." And by the time I finish typing a sentance, they are all nagging at me to "get on with it" or "lets go, hurry up" when none of us have any idea what we are supposed to be doing in the first place. It's basically a bunch of trippy confusing tasks getting thrown at you while you tryna type. And idk what they even want but they were bothering me. Ok so basically all I can think to come up with at this point is that I am sitting down on my bed typing and ghost people are everywhere interacting with each other and playing ball or whatever the fuck them weird ass niggas do to keep em entertained.

12:00 PM
: Time to calm down and just figure out what in the absolute fuck just happened. And also where all my imaginary friends went. They literally just disappeared. As annoying as they were, I actually kinda miss them now haha. Well my entire iPad screen is being treated as if it was melting into a bowl or something so I have to reach further into the bowl to type certain keys. Some of the text would just pop up out of the screen and just sit there in mid-air, just like the 3D effects of a nintendo 3DS (my little sister has one). As I typed, my report, as a whole, kept going up the screen (that's what happens when you type) and now it was basically like a star wars intro. As I pecked my fingers into the bowl-melted iPad screen, the text would just pop out of the screen and move farther and farther away, just like a star wars intro. It was really cool. Now, time to walk past my entire family to go upstairs and get a snack. May the lord be with me.

12:15 PM
: Aaand the lord was with me. My fam didn't have the slightest clue I was trippin balls. I went back in my room, sat on my bed, and munched away on my snacks. I looked in the mirror. There was two of me...in the mirror... Usually when you walk up to your bathroom and look the mirror, you see one reflection of your self. Well for me, I walked into my room, looked in the mirror, and saw TWO reflections of my self. Why? God fuckin knows. Alright, so I'm hoping to get the most out of this trip as I can so I'm a turn off the lights, and hopefully, I will have some nice closed-eye hallucinations. Im a turn on some trippy music and put in head phones too

1:30 AM
: I just turned on the lights. So I was laying down in my bed for like over an hour and just about nothing happened... I was kinda disappointed, but oh well. However, I did see bunnies hoping around on my floor sometimes. That was pretty entertaining while it lasted.

1:40 AM
: So now I'm just layin in my bed, confused about what the fuck just happened, and to my surprise, I was completely sober. Or at least that's how I feel. Given that it's a medication meant for insomnia treatment, I woulda figured it would last more than a couple of hours... Huh...

So yea, that was all in all a pretty fun experience. I recommend giving it a try, just for the fuck of it. I think it's pretty funny actually and it's really cool just to see things morph. Well, I hope you guys enjoyed. Thanks for reading. :) This is also my very first trip report so please tell me how I did, thanks.

That is one hell of a trip for 15 mg of ambien at least in my opinion. Did the lamictal intensify the effects do you think.

Anybody please correct me if I'm wrong but ambien is only for initially falling asleep it does not help with keeping you asleep for the whole "8 hours" so it is useful for those who have trouble falling asleep but it does not help if you have trouble staying asleep. And it's (I don't know the correct term) but it's true effects only have about a two hour window if effectiveness.

I have been taking ambien 10 mg a night for about a year. Not every night but about 80% of the time I take 10 mg before bed. I have experimented with 10 mg, 20 mg, 30 mg, and 40 mg in an attempt to trip.

For me 10 mg is effective at putting me to sleep

20 mg is very effective at knocking me out but my ass better be in bed ready for sleep at around the 30 minute mark and there is a slight "drunk" effect. And also very mild amnesia

30 mg gives me the effect of being very intoxicated and uncoordinated but no hallucinations and the amnesia effects are intensified

40 mg (just a one time experience)
Extremely unpleasant. It gave me the feeling of being intoxicated beyond belief. Like the very few times I had to be carried on the house back in the day. I passed out in the living room in my chair and had complete amnesia. I woke the next morning and felt like I drank all night long and had a complete black out and felt somewhat dissoriented because I could not remember a Damn thing

I speculate that perhaps I could have "tripped" at the higher doses but because of the amnesia effect I don't remember any of it

On a side note I can stay awake if I want on the 10 mg and 20 mg doses and feel a little goofy but at 30 mg and 40 mg forget about my ass is gonna fall asleep

I have researched on here about the prescriptions I have and it just amazes me (including the ambien) the greatly varied effects it has on people
