Hello everyone,

I am here to discuss my condition with you guys, your help will mean a lot to me.
I have recently completely withdrawn from Zoloft 50mg by tapering it down for 1 month, it has now been 1 month since I last took my zoloft.
I took Zoloft for 10+ years for Depression and Panic Disorder but now had to quit as my Liver Function report came out and it had elevated Direct Bilirubin.
I used to take 1 pill of Chlordiazepoxide(Benzodiazepine) which is now replaced by Alprazolam 0.25mg by my Doctor.

Both of my original pills have gone that I took for around 10 years, Now I feel like I'm in the gutter, half tablet of 0.25mg Alprazolam make me feel more anxious, sometimes its ok but other times its not.

For the past 2 days I experimented on Neurobion (B1+B6+B12) it makes me aggressive but focused too, but Alprazolam takes all the focus away, I am suffering big time, any help, experienced suggestion will be Highly Appreciated with all my heart friends.

English is not my first language please ignore my poor grammar, Thank You for reading my post :)

You are probably experiencing withdrawal from that long of usage. Make an account at survivingantidepressants.org and they should be able to help you sort this out. Best of luck.

I agree with you my friend, I have went through the withdrawal and its not easy, Exercise like Cycling and Walking is helping me, my goal now(after quitting Zoloft) is to get the required Serotonin from food and from exercise.

I like this site, lots of helpful people, I need more advises.

"Inositol" is it good for Depression and Panic, anybody here with some experience as I am going to buy it for myself.

Thank You !

People in various withdrawals usual benefit from magnesium and fish oil. I don't know how serious your condition is, but a proper taper is out of the question? Sometimes it can take a long time to feel better after you cold turkey ADs when you are on them for that long.

Why do you trust yourself to self-medicate, and not the person who went through eight years of higher education for medicine? Just curious.

I can vouch for a small benefit via fish oil.

There are plenty of antidepressants to try. Zoloft is only one of many.

If you're looking for a "kick" then some coffee might help you start your day.

Thank You all of you for your kind support, I am now consulting my Psychiatrist, He says I have been over-reacting to my Liver Function Report and that I need to forget it, Human being is NOT made of Steel !

He has kept me on Alprazolam 0.25 mg at night and only half of that at day time (only when required).

PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU MUST CONSULT YOUR REGISTERED AND EXPERIENCED DOCTOR FIRST BEFORE MAKING ANY MOVE, DISCUSS WITH HIM / HER YOUR CONCERNS IN DETAIL, DO NOT SELF-MEDICATE EVER, IF SOME MEDICINE PRESCRIBED BY YOUR DOCTOR DOES NOT SUIT YOU EVEN AFTER GIVING IT SOME TIME, TALK TO YOUR DOCTOR.
