Misc Zamadol SR 200mg????

I have a few of these in capsule form. I was wondering if i can pour one into some water and drink so that its not slow release anymore? will it give me a nice high? i was using codeine but im out of these, and i have a box of OC80s......but after reading how addictive they are im not trying them. Any advice appreciated.
 
I personally don't like tramadol but if you like codeine you might enjoy it. The thing is they're time released, and I don't think the "just add water" method works here. I don't know much about tramadols time release but maybe someone else will (Toothpastedog?)
 
Thanks tricomb i appreciate the reply.....anyone else know if breaking the capsule and adding water gets round the time release?
 
Hey I did some reading and I'm pretty sure you can just crush them and that should defeat the time release, so then just eat the powder or mix it in a drink! lucky you! i wish it was as easy to defeat the time release on opana

Are these the little round bead things? I loved those.

Regardless, you can disable the time release by crushing them up (if they have a shell, also remove that) and then simply parachuting the powder with a rolling paper or toilet paper (or an empty gel cap if you have one handy).

Really nice high, better than IR tramadol imho.

You could also mix with water, but crushing them up is what really matters.

If you're on an SSRI or anything, start with half. Or skip your SSRI for the day. If not, I'd say go for the whole 200mg. It won't be too much, but it'll certainly be more than enough ;)
 
Yeah they are the little beads, i took them out the gel cap crushed them and put back in and swallowed. Lets see how nice this is.
 
Sorry I went on a hike. And if you went with the full 200mg then that's probably the best. Idk, I'm not the best person to ask about tramadol dosing because it does absolutely nothing for me. But I do know that more than 400mg is dangerous and increases your risk of seizures.
 
Well i got nothing from 200mg, and wasnt going to risk 400mg just in case. I have some OC80s, they are highly addictive right?
 
How big of a seizure risk is it really if you're a) an occasional user of tramadol b) not prone to seizures? Personally I always wait atleast one week between using tramadol, often much longer. When I do take them though, I never take less than 300mg, it would be a waste in my book (recretionally). Staggering the dose is a good idea too in my opinion, if I want to take 450mg total I'd take 75mg every 30 minutes until it's all consumed (maybe 150mg as a starter dose and 75mg every 30mins after that). ER formulations of tramadol seem to last aeons so it's nice to take small amounts at small intervals until I reach a comfortable level of stimulation, the sedation will catch up sooner or later.

I'm not that much of a fan of opiates luckily anyway, but tramadol is an exception in my book. I like it much more than say, oxycodone. Sometimes I take a low dose of clonazepam (0,5mg) to combat the risk of seizure, but I'm not sure if that's necessary for me (or even helping).
