so what is the difference in psychological effects between drugs from eithe of these two categories??
is it a huge difference? or not so much..

Ive came across a good amount of zopiclone recently but have no experience with z drugs at all; lots of experience with both temazepam and alprazolam however..
ive tried the search engine and havent found what i was looking for

z drugs in my book are wayyyyyy better. benzo like calm with more euphoria and HALLUCINATIONS sweeeet. gimme your zopiclone! just powder it up mix with water add to blotter paper and fax it to 1800-tablehead ;)

What exactly are z drugs(basically) and how do they compare to benzos??? are they like GHB or something?

from what i know.. z drugs are non-benzo's.. theyre hypnotics that are supposed to be similiar, clinically, to benzo's.. and what im asking is how they differ, recreationally, to benzos

Benzos are general GABAa agonists and z-drugs have a more focused action of GABAa... While benzos are sedative/hypnotics and have anticonsulsant and myorelxant properties, z-drugs are just sedative/hypnotics. They don't produce the anticonvulsant and muscle relaxant properties that benzos do.

Benzos have far more uses than z drugs. I have zopiclone prescibed a couple times a year, it works very well for sleep, & with a 6 hour half life it pisses all over the bizzare zolpidem.

Z drugs in my opinion, have no recreational value, where's valium can be used on its own to relax, mix with opiates, to come down from a stimulant... Benzos are much for versatile.
