I have to come out and admit it.... (although many of you already know)

I LOVE KISS!!!

Listening to "God of Thunder" right now... glam rock anthem :)

Who else has a guilty music pleasure to share?

I grew up on Glam rock/Hair metal and practically lived at the Cathouse during the 90's

Favs...

Skid Row
Kiss
Dokken
Dio
Lynch Mob
Winger
White Lion
Cinderella

I could go on forever...... :)

At one point in my life...sigh...I used to listen to Mis-teeq.
Man, I dunno what I was smokin.
Go away! Its not my fault! sob sob, no body likes me

-Peace

All the cds I buy are either punk or some type of music with a political message although I confess I still enjoy listening to the stuff that was on the radio when I was little...

This was during the 80's/early 90's so I'm basically talking about stuff like Bonnie Tyler's total eclipse of the heart/other shit... Ahh nostalgia... I also like the doors (Is there anything wrong with that?)

i have all their albums and been to 2 shows, have videos and posters, had all their t-shits *sigh* ahhhh memeories...it was the 1st band i really love and i hold them and their lyrics very dear to my heart :)

Yup they were kings back in the late 80's early 90's!

not that I feel guilty about it, but amidst the electronic dance music I still love hearing Jamiroquai (the older albums mainly, emergency on planet earth & return of the space cowboy)
computer game soundtracks always rock! (listening to Final Fantasy 7 atm)
Faith No More: king for a day has gotta be the best of its kind (jazzy AND thrashy??)

- Faith No More <-- amen to that

- Warrant

- Guns n Roses

- Early early Chili Peppers...I love Chili Peppers with all my heart but if you heard some of their 80's tunes then you would see why this is something to be shamed about.

- Joe Satriani, electric guitar god

But my total shame? The worst out of the bunch that has had co-workers point and laugh. Rightly so. I dig the girl pop band All Saints.
I hate to admit it and its something that I should keep deep down and buried.

But the songs are catchy. The harmonies..

Please...someone...help.

Well... here's some of my most hideous efforts, in ascending order:

4. Finding the opening theme to "Columns" on the Sega Megadrive to be quite funky in an ambient kinda way...

3. Making up a "rap-dance" with my mates to "Vanilla Ice - Ice Ice Baby" in the garage, back when it was the ONLY tape that i owned.

2. Making up another "rap-dance" to "Salt n Pepa - Shoop" and then performing it in front of my 5th Grade class with 4 other girls (i rapped the male vocal part), knowing ALL the words...

1. Dancing in the living room to "Track 4" off the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - Soundtrack", and thinking it was the coolest song EVER. Thank God i never actually tried to perform THAT ONE in front of the class...

These days i would have to say that i confidentely have no shame.... But, then again, i did find myself listening to "Madonna - Lucky Star" the other day after i discovered it on the Snatch Soundtrack.... he he he... love that eighties synth trash.....

PLUR :)

Old-skool computer game music has always been quality.
*hums Alex the Kid*

and yea, East 17.....it's alright, it IS really alright.

^^^^ Delta's got hodgkin's disease (lymph cancer). I read it in today's paper. Your post just reminded me.

I was singing along to DJ Sammy the other day. Jezus 8). But is v. catchy.

I have no remorse.

Edit: whenever Bon Jovi's Living on a Prayer plays on the radio, my housemate and I sing along really feckin loud when we're driving anywhere.

lostpunk5545, the Doors are totally cool! I loved them at uni and love 'em now.

heh.

Duran Duran. A never failing constant in my musical collection, but prone to loud verbal attacks from anyone who sees it.
