Although we have a quote thread already, it's mostly devoted to the published, famous, or famously-dead people; yet there's plenty of gems newly-minted here on TDS/BL to keep us mining nugs for a while.

Our own occasionally-inscrutable PIP is a wellspring of such things, so I'll start with one of his more recent & memorable ones.

You people, you're going to give me a swollen head. :D

The thing is, I think in sound bites a lot of the time, and make use of them as mantras or reminders when applicable. Hell, I've even got a few that I've used to drown out the demons, or to egg them on. I've got a million of 'em.

PIP's gem, as quoted by Ix in the original post, has really made me re-think my position on attraction. Particularly this part:

guilt is not only a psychic scar..... it is also a guidepost.
It's a moral demarcation of a crucial moment, where our choices were made without the presence of our future's horrific hindsight. the past points us towards different decisions which lead to more favorable outcomes; our innate lodestone of ethics is what helps us act justly, and hopefully avoid future suffering.
