Bluelighter
whatsup everybody, today is your lucky day
. i don't know about you, but i'm sick and tired of all the bullshit coverage that the rave scene has been receiving in the mainstream media lately. it seems like every day i come to this board and someone has posted another article from their hometown paper that is filled with inaccuracies, misconceptions, and even outright propaganda.
well, in an attempt to right the record, i'm going to be writing an article about raving in my hometown specifically(ottawa, canada), but i'll also be writing about what i know about the scene more generally. this started out as a class project (4th year communications), but i'm hoping to have a finished product that i will be able to shop around to my campus paper, alternative paper, and maybe even some more mainstream media.
what i would like to know from my bluelight family is the following:
What do you think the public should know about our scene, that currently isn't being covered fairly/accurately in the mainstream media?
i really would like to hear your suggestions. this is your chance to be heard!!
by the way, i won't be mentioning bluelight in the article. i simply don't want to compromise this precious space of ours.

And the end of all our exploring/Will be to arrive where we started
/And to know the place for the first time.
