FYI, Microsoft is dropping the new xbox experience on us on 11/17. The download is a bit larger than they anticipated and are giving people the opportunity to upgrade to a 20gb harddrive to have space for it, thought I'd share.

Microsoft is giving the 360 a new look as far as the dashboard is concerned, adding netflix to things you can do with it. New party rooms to talk to up to 8 of your friends at once, avatars, and lots of other things.

Your xbox has to have enough room to do this on it's hard drive. If you got the lowest base system called the Arcade, your system did not come with a Harddrive. Therefore you are not able to download it. The link I gave gives these console owners the chance to get a hard drive at a discounted rate to be able to enjoy the new experience with the rest of us.

They're doing the same thing for this here in the UK too. they'll give you a 20GB hard drive for £12.99 or they'll give you a 512MB MU for free, but again only if you bought the Xbox 360 Arcade.
