Xanax Rush

Ok well i bought 5 xanax 1 mg blue footballs on thursday and i popped 2 and was feelin' good which i was suprized cause i was really badly addicted to these things about 7 monts ago but i decided i wanted to do another and i remembered when i snorted them they gave me a great rush but everyone on bluelight said that was just a waste? So i went and crushed it up don't really remember crushing it up but when i snorted it i remembered it gave me an amazing rush and i was nodding off in minutes. So whats the deal with this? there not water soultable but there able to be snorted and in my experience they produce a better high when snorted. Anyone know why this is? i know some people dont even get high off of xanax so maybe im just lucky? any ideas?
 
I didn't realize there was any rush associated with benzos, but my experience to them is limited to just zopiclone. What's a Xanax rush like?
 
^ Imovane (zopiclone) is a non-benzo, hypnotic z-drug like Ambien. And I've never really found a rush with benzos either, maybe if IV'ed but the "rush" would only be faster onset. Also I don't believe alprazolam (Xanax) is soluble in water either...
 
when you have panic disorder like I do xanax is much too valuable to use it in the manner you described, not judging you for using it like that, I'd do the same thing if it got me high like that. xanax is like gold when you are having a panic attack, not too good for a rush for me. however being saved from the life crushing grip of a panic attack is it's own kind of euphoria.
 
Xanax is not very water soluble and therefore should not be banged (with water at least) or snorted. The best ROA is to just swallow the damn pill(s) because Alprazolam has a very high oral bio-availability and unless you have some poorly synthesized generic, it'll still kick in nicely.

I've done a few benzos and Xanax is the best at hitting you the hardest when it kicks in (based on the benzos I've done).

I too have Panic Disorder and have been on Xanax for close to 5 years now. I won't lie, there are times where I've experimented and have taken more than my prescribed dosage and yes they do give me a nice buzz (I feel really relaxed) but that's about it and for that reason, I don't see the point in abusing my prescription as I legitimately need this medication or else I completely lose it when I get stressed out.
 
if you guys didn't notice i put i bought 5 for a reason, i only use them for recreational ability. which means talking about not abusing a xanax prescription isnt needed?:|
 
Snorting benzodiazepines?! Well if it works for you..

And a Xanax "rush"? I was on Xanax for 4 years. Never experienced such a thing, not from any the ones I've taken over my 11 year course of them. Temazepam would make me feel good and after taking a benzo for relief of really bad anxiety would put me in a very calming peaceful state of mind but an actual "rush"? Like after shooting heroin, taking a hit from crack, a hit of methamphetamine? Or lesser extents like doing a line of cocaine, bump of ketamine? That quick? No can't say I have ever before felt a rush from Alprazolam.
 
I thought you said you had a script for Xanax, Roxicodone, and Norco.. lulz.

Anyhow crushing them will create a faster onset but not a "rush".. the only xanax "rush" I have ever noticed is the desire to sit on the couch and not get up... And yes Xanax is like gold when having a panic attack, then when you don't get panic attacks anymore it becomes a security blanket.
 
As I have stated many times, don't snort Xanax. It's fucking retarded. If it works for you, fine, but I have been taking it for recreation for years and I have even tried the "awesome idea" of snorting them. That was some stupid shit and I was left with a clogged nose, no high and a waste of my Xanax. Just, whatever. I'm done talking about this stupid shit.
 
I've snorted xanax before (after being told it's the only benzo you can/could snort- and yes I know that eating them is the best-and pretty much only recommended ROA) and DID notice that it came on faster - obviously. One could interpret this as a 'rush'. You can definitely feel it kick in. I wouldn't say it's a euphoric rush, just more like 'oh yep...that's what xanax feels like, time for bed' feeling. Sometimes I snort them at night (by sometimes I mean 1:20 ratio) when I really am having trouble sleeping - just to knock me out quicker.

Your q was answered above, though. Quicker to kick in, shorter in duration/weaker in overall effect.
 
cracker please. I dont use benzos anymore..i didnt like them when i did use them. I havent used alpraz, but i have used clonazepam, lorazepam and lots of temazepam. NONE energised me (although..when id get fucked up enough on temazepam i wouldnt sleep, id be stumbling around outside smokign cigs)..my friend passed out when we were doing klonopin, his face went into a pot (like a plant pot filled with dirt) and i wasnt able to get up, i sat there saying "WU TANG CLAN AINT NOTHIN TO FUCK WITH" (extremely slurred) for about 2 hours.

No, you just have a paradoxical reaction to it. I do too. It makes me want to talk more. And it keeps my mind free. Shit, I can play three games of basketball without major fatigue.
I don't take high doses.

All GABA-A agonist sometimes cause this reaction. It's a known phenomenon in drug pharmacology.

Impulsive-manic violence is the leading cause of arrest with benzodiazepines.

shiiiiiiiit xanax makes the inner personality in you come out, i think it removes the "should i say/do this" filter in your brain
