Benzos Xanax and Smoking...

So I'm currently on 2mg of xanax and want to smoke a little synthetic cannabinoids (highly potent blend, 1-2mg doses) so it must be mixed with tobacco...

I don't want to fuck up the alprazolam levels in my blood as I'll get panic attacks from the cannabinoids if I'm not on it, and I smoke less than 1 cigarette a day. Does anybody have a definitive answer if nicotine lowers the levels of alprazolam in the blood? And does this only apply to actual pack a day smokers, or will 1/4-1/3 of a cigarette while already under the influence lower levels of the drug?
 
First of all, ska does fucking suck.

And i have tried smoking on Xanax and without it many times just to test this out, and it does make a huge difference for me atleast, i noticed not only did it feel like alot weaker it also made what was left of the xanax buzz a real shitty feeling.. if i we're you i would only puff weed and maybe take a couple drags off your cig if you need to really but i would wait as long as you can for the cig, puff all the weed you want while on xanax.


weed and xanax is like one of my all time fav combo's.
 
It's unclear whether nicotine effects it or not, some say it lowers the strength and shortens the duration of the Xanax (do a search on this site and you find some threads on it). I'd be on the save side and try freebasing the cannabioids.
 
Chronic smoking does more for enzyme induction than smoking occasionally - it's a bodily adaptation to eliminate the increased toxic load from cigs.
 
Yeah I think I'll try and avoid the nicotine... another question - is it normal for xanax to raise my HR to 120+ bpm after a stimulant comedown (it's lower without taking the xanax).
 
Ciggarettes effect benzos ?? This is news to me.... Ive been on klonopin .5 mg a day and then when i can buy xanax i get that and i take that and smoke weed and ciggarettes when i go to sleep, but I never thought that would effect anything with the xanax and Gaba receptors, etc..... Uh, maybe you're getting a little too anxious and thinking too much about ciggarettes, and stuff. i guess thats why ur on the xanax but still, ive never heard of this before.
