Hello, I'm new to this forum and I understand that this site isn't for pill identification, but I
really
need some assistance on whether or not these appear to be real or fake. It's the packaging that seems sketchy to me
and I don't want to waste my money getting scammed.

These are being sold by a pharmacist in an asian country where brand name xanax is banned and only the generics are prescribed.
Simply put, their generics are terrible and don't even see usefulness in using my prescription. The pharmacist has no box for these and sells them in packs.
Won't say where or if it's imported from, can receive them by shipment in a week

Appears to be the Parke-Davis 1.0 purple Xanax. If someone can please help me out by looking over the pictures below I would very much appreciate it.

A taste test is always my goto choice when questioning xanax, since alprazolam has an unforgettable taste if you have abused it like I have.

Xanax tastes like pain and human suffering.

I never abused it but I had a full-fledged ripping panic attack once which prompted me to literally chew a whole Xanax bar, and I figured out fast why people don't chew that medication. I could not get that rancid chemical taste out of my mouth no matter how hard I tried, it seemed.

Interesting. Lorazepam has no taste at all, and some of the RC benzos in powder form not either... aren't more the bulking agents etc responsible for that? I haven't tried alprazolam / xanax yet though.

The most disgusting bitter substance I've ever encountered is zopiclone. It's so strong that one can have a metallic chemical taste in the mouth (a listed side effect) on the day after even when the 7.5mg tablet has been put into an additional capsule. I could identify a sample of just a few micrograms perhaps.

It is probably not a good idea to recommend a taste test if the drug is unknown. I know Xanax tastes horrible but many others are just as repugnant and similar enough to not be able to tell the difference.

The packaging looks pretty good but that really tells us nothing. If you are worried and cannot confirm it is legitimate Xanax, dont take it.

If this is supposedly a generic then it shouldn't have the brand name on the packaging. I wouldn't trust it.

Yes of course those are good.... im guessing you are ordering from a website from pakistan.... one of those moneygram dealios.... they actually do work ... and yes those are going to be real.... usually the way it works is if you order the brand name medications, youll pay a little extra (its still cheap as hell) and they are brand name but they might have some arabic writing on it... its fine... basically the pharmacuetical companies flood those markets with black market batches of surplus medication... they know they will be sold without rx , but its another way for them to make an extra buck

The taste is bitterish and not pleasant but definitely not unbearable like you guys are describing. When taken sublingually it's not nearly as bad and at first the taste is okay almost savoury, then the 'bad' taste and bitterness kicks in after about 10 seconds.

But again, because these aren't the US light blue footballs, and foreign name brand xanax is it possible for the taste to be not like you guys described?

I'm not ordering them, a local pharmacy where I'm located atm places orders for them for customers. They'll accept a minimum order of 5 blister packs as an exception, they usually take orders of 10 minimum. They receive them from the supplier in about a weeks time. And again the pill in question appears to be in the link I posted in my previous post. And it does say manufactured by Parke-Davis, in Pakistan

LASTLY, thank you for everyone helping me out in this thread. But I think something that might be important to point out is that these Purple footballs are just about the same size
as the Upjohn55 0.5mg US Pfizer Xanax. I'd appreciate if someone could also comment on this specifically and if there's any relevance to this with accordance to the legitimacy.

I bought 40 of them about 9 yrs ago the guy was getting them online ,,they were the same as the blues ,,, i even bought round sticks ,, different companys are sitching things up ....

those are the exact same shape and size of the .5mg generic alprazolam I get for Rx, however mine are orange, and the 1mg ones that I was getting for Rx are blue. I don't think there is anyone of us here that can for sure say they are legit or not.

I'm sorry but I have to close this. This thread is nothing other than an identification thread and it sounds like you already knew it was against the rules before posting. Regardless of what anyone says it's just not possible to accurately identify whether your product is legit or fake over the internet. I've seen some remarkable fake prescription drugs (mainly 2mg xanax bars) that even the most trained eye wouldn't be able to distinguish in person, let alone over the internet.
