Harm Reduction Would you rather 10 days of moderate withdrawal or 5 days of severe withdrawal?

I basically have enough opioids to last where I can be completely comfortable for the next 5 days followed by 4-5 days of pretty much nothing at all to take OR I can force myself to stretch it out the entire 9-10 days* but feel moderately sick that entire time. Which do you think would be worse?


*I'm saying 9-10 because it's 10 days but including today and it's already even today

Personally I would stretch it. Yeah, being a little dopesick sucks, but being very dopesick REALLY sucks, and those hours in full withdrawal are much longer than usual lol.

when i used to be in better shape i might've went with the severe withdrawl, but as i get older, i can't really deal with that any more.

I rather 5 days of severe heroin wd its so much better then a stretched out wd pod wd is a month long of shit the 5 day of heroin wd is better

Actually I agree ignore the comment I made im nearly 49 and a severe wd is so hard the older u get

Probably 5 of severe honestly. Moderate would just be annoying for 10 days your not going to get anything done. I usually accept before going into withdrawal that I'm not going to be eating or drinking for the entire week while I contort and roll around in bed. As long as I can just lay there and not be bothered I'm usually content with whatever. You gotta corpse it for a week.

Did manage to convince my doctor (I FINALLLYYYY found a sympathetic one!) to give me a few extra pills to get me by. It's only 28 x 10mg Morphine pills but hopefully it'll help me get through some extra days.
