I am single at the moment, but about 8 months ago I was in a relationship with a women and I told her that I have had bisexual experiences, She wanted to know about the experiences, but admitted that she felt threatened by it and made me promise that I wouldn't go with another man, I promised her I had no intention of going with another man or women for that matter whilst we were together. But she became obsessed with the thought of me meeting up with another guy, I kept saying there's just as much chance I could have an affair with another women, but that didn't seem to bother her as much as me being bisexual. :)

Honesty isn't the best policy! Just do like me and lie to the missus and have a chap on the side. Women can't compete with men and vice versa, but women, ime, tend to be more touchy about the fact.

The mechanics of being actively bi are pretty complex and not many women will support you in it.

This is true... but the only way I'm getting into another relationship with a women is if she is also bi or is into having a threesome, mmf as part of the Relationship. I don't mind having a mff threesome if I really have too, lol. I don't think I could be in another relationship with someone who is totally straight.

People just fear what they don't understand. It's like apples and oranges, someone might get spooked if they were an apple but you also like oranges. I'm a bisexual and my past few partners have been as well, it just comes with a better understanding. However if you want to be with a straight woman maybe down play it by saying something like, "I have been with men in the past" and then reassure them that your invested in what your doing just like any other person in a realtionship.

I have no problem with it. My partner is with me. I'm not worried about him cheating on me with a male or female. He's with me.

If I would be in love with her and if the feeling is mutual, why not?

it seems like a person would have to be a bigot or religious zealot if they were uncomfortable dating someone because theyr bi

Thanks everyone for your comments, it seems I chose the wrong one to be honest with, but then that's me, I have to be truthful, especially within a relationship, to me honesty along with trust are two of the most importance things within a relationship.

I'm bisexual as well and about a year ago I ended a long term relationship with a bisexual man, so while I'm not really looking now I've just always been honest with whoever I date or get into a LTR/partnership with.

Honesty is the best way for a true relationship that will last. If you have to PRETEND to be straight with your GF/WIFE - then you have issues. What if you both run into an ex-boyfriend of yours? Or a friend brings up an EX or your past as a matter-of-fact.

Find and date bisexual women, and that will allow you both to be free to be in love with each other and play with others on the side. MY wife is bi and we have an open relationship that allows us to be with other women. I tell a bi-sexual woman I have bi-woman, they get wet to try her out. She's a chick magnet at times.

I've meet lots of bi-women who WISH their boyfriends would allow them to have sex with women.

You just need to meet the woman that is compatible with your romantically and is open to this. They are out there.

Well hopefully one day I will find a bi girlfriend, Would be a dream come true... Thanks for your comment. :)

Yeah my partner is actually bi. I didn't say that in the original post but eh why not. He prefers females but he's been with guys. I don't care. He's exclusive with me so that's what matters. I don't get jealous of him with other males or females.

I think one part of it is pretty cool. I mean, when you're with a person, they choose you over every other female (or male). But when you're with someone who is bi, they could be into quite literally everyone, so they chose you over every other female AND male (double the people). Haha. IDK, I probably worded that wrong, but it's just kinda cool thinking about it like this.

But I seriously don't care about someone's orientation as long as I like them and they like me. that is perfectly fine.

Hey, B-G. Did you happen to catch the movie "The Cloud Atlas"? Check out out, watch it twice if possible. Its a bit of scifi/love-story.

Hi Clitnhawk... I love Sci-Fi, I have seen this movie but can't remember it, will have to dig through my Dvd collection and watch it again.

I agree that if you aren't honest in your relationship, it will likely fail. Also I would totally date a bisexual man, provided they don't cheat on me which would be my requirement for straight men too.

Hell it might be fun, we could talk about guys we both thought were hot, also its not cheating if it's an informed threesome. And a boy boy girl threesome might be awesome. So yeah, id be open too it. My only requirement for dating me is no cheating behind my back, and if you fall in love with someone else, I can't stay. Apart from that I'm very open minded. I'm not bi myself however, got no problem with it and the idea of being with another woman doesn't disgust me, I'm just not attracted to them like I am to guys.

lol, I wouldn't go that far. I doubt it's easy to be my bf, I'm in perpetual poverty due to spending so much money on drugs, have little to no plans for the future, dealing with each day as it passes. I'm high all the time and don't have motivation to do much. My personality and lifestyle generally pushes anyone living a normal healthy lifestyle away. But hey, if all you're looking for is someone to take the roller coaster to hell and self destruction with, then I'm probably a good fit. ;)

Roller coaster to hell and destruction sounds like a ride I need to on again... Has a ex biker and drug abuser, I've been there and done it and the t shirt as faded and is full of holes lol

Well I have a big heart, but I'm probably way to old for you and then there's the possible hundreds if not thousands of miles between us. x
