Is it safe, or possible to workout on opiates? will muscles even regenerate? is it even safe on your heart?
captain heroin, did you make any gains? i used to be an avid weightlifter and biker, i injured my shoulder two months ago, and now i am addicted to oxy, so i havent been working out, and i want to get bak into it, but i wanted to know if i need to quit first, or if i could start working out and then quit later?
Why not just use the opiates after you've completed your work out?
My only worry is that you wouldn't be able to feel an injury coming on.
Would working out on bupe have a negative effect on feeling the endorphin high? Because bupe has such a high affinity for opioid receptors, is it possible that it would block endogenous endorphins?
I can't speak for gains or anything like that, but it is something I wouldn't recommend. Opiates are analgesics, and it would be easy to cause injury without noticing, in many different ways. In certain situations, such as this one, pain is your friend.

i couldnt put it any better than captain heroin...its a great feeling working out while being messed up...i do it all the time and ive personally went from a 250lb bench max to a 300 lb bench max. Im not dick sizing...im just making a point that for some people it doesnt make a difference. If u have heart problems or something like that i wouldnt even suggest working out.Yeah I did make gains. I don't measure my weight/height, muscle mass or body fat ratio anything like that though. All I know is I used to love going to the gym doped up, and I would make it part of the post-getting high ritual (the adrenaline rush made it an even better high for me). At first I would get burned out within a few sets, after a while I could spend a good half hour to hour doing set after set. I definitely have a much more muscular body than I had before I started using heroin for sure.
I think you should work out again, but try different doses of your pain meds. Saving some pain meds for after exercise can be very rewarding.
