Maybe this belongs in a different section...but I figured it would be cool to post it here. I didn't check to see if there was already a thread on this so I'm sorry if it's a repeat.

Mainly for the athletes I suppose, but I don't see why anyone else should be discouraged from posting.


So Idea of the thread is that you post things that your coach or or someone elses coach has said. Be it inspirational or just funny. If it stuck with you, post it :)

I'll start.
When I was a freshman, the first year I ever played football, my D-Line coach says to us "You will be the meanest mother fuckers on that field":)
 
hahaha, this one coach was hilarious and would always jump around in high school. was a great inspiration. he said something like "we are going to beat them physically and then rape their cheerleaders!"

I had to duck under people to hide my lulz

No way you played for a private school cuz you can't buy that kind of coaching.

yeah, but not to the same extent I guess

looks like you and me will own this thread. I don't think many BLers have played lots of *organized* sports. I actually played for a small college, too. was fun, despite the meat heads

Very nice. I was done after high school. The CC I'm going to doesn't have a program unfortunately. And the ones that do don't have the program i'm in >_>

Favorite hockey coach line "FUCKING HURT SOMEONE", always makes me laugh like really hurt someone? Ive heard it from every coach ive ive played hockey for. I played up through college
 
yeah right, I wish I was good enough to play for Ohio State. Ohio is a HUGE football state that produces so much raw talent (like Cali, Texas, Florida). I played in a small Division II school. I quit after two years when I realized that I wasn't going to go pro :\

Hmmm...NJ already has a prep school league in place.

It's called "The Prep School League"
 
Itd be nice if that was the standard around the country. but i guess they just cant let go of destroying the schools that dont have the ability to buy their talent.... oh well.
