I just posted a thread asking about why I seem predisposed to precipitated withdrawal, but I have another topic I'd like to help shed some light on.
I was wondering if anyone else has found that after taking bupe (suboxone-subutex) too soon and entering the HELL that is Precipitated Withdrawals, after the precipitated period passes, the withdrawals that follow are much more mild?
I understand that this is confusing so for example this is what I mean...
Numbers are WITHDRAWAL PAIN on a scale of 1 (painless) to 10 (full blown horrid withdrawals)
If normal opiate withdrawals roughly follow this pattern- Day 1: 3/10|| Day 2: 6/10|| Day 3: 8/10|| Day 4: 7/10|| Day 5: 5/10....
I have found that after taking suboxone TOO SOON- after the precipitaed withdrawals subside (normally for me 1-2 hours later) and the pain during that time is easily a 10/10 or above, my withdrawals seem to be knocked down a few notches to folow a pattern more like this...
Day1 After Precips Fade: 8/10|| Day2: 5/10|| Day3 3/10|| Day4 2/10...etc
Basically I am wondering if it is possible that when the Bupe tosses the opiates off your receptors in order to fill them, does it cause the body so much pain that it essentially condenses the withdrawal period into a ridiculously intense 1-3 hours and thus makes the process that follows much more mild due to the sudden strain? It has crossed my mind that perhaps the reason I seem to feel "less crappy" than a normal withdrawal without suboxone or precipitated withdrawals is because of how terrible the precips were and now that I am out of that anything feels good, but i cant believe that that is the case.
Does anyone know what I am talking about or am I the only one who thinks that accidentally (or doing it intentionally) entering precipitated withdrawal shocks the body so much that it causes the rest of the Withdrawal period to be significantly more mild than if one were to quit cold turkey and simply stop taking any opiate.
I realize that perhaps it is the suboxone kicking in after the precipitated withdrawals, but even if that initially dose (the one taken too early) is the ONLY dose i take, I still feel that the entire experience is more mild (and in theory suboxone wears off after a max of 36 hours so 2 days later i should, in theory, go back to feeling the normal withdrawals if it was the suboxones effects)
