Opioids Wise use of Kratom for opiate withdrawals?

To make things clear at the outset, i've been heavily addicted to Kratom back a few years ago and really it's always lead to stronger addictions. I'm acutely aware at this stage that any 'overdoing it' could ruin the whole thing for me, as the idea is to get completely clean.

Also I'm aware that there are quite a few threads out there on this subject already but my question is more specifically whether it's a good idea as opposed to whether it works or not or how much to take. I'm currently on day 3 of w/d from a 3 week H binge (in terms of amount.. more than enough) which in relative terms is really not all that bad but I ask for the comfort it may provide to myself and others (i've got pretty bad cramps/RLS which makes it very difficult to sleep, amongst the other obvious symptoms)

Namely- is it wise in that Kratom is some sort of opioid agonist(?) or another and may just extend the withdrawals as it still occupies the receptors and therefore is not really detox? Or does it have some partial affinity that is more of a relief to the symptoms rather than a complete replacement such that it won't extend the withdrawals? Like Subs, on the one end of the spectrum is just a complete replacement. I have access to subs as well but I figured i'd rather do my best to manage the withdrawals in other ways this time.. sub withdrawals really suck.

I know that dosage is everything and really I'd just like to be able to get up and do things, in particular exercise and take care of myself properly. So in that sense, is it advisable to take alleviating dosages of Kratom for a short amount of time (3-4 days tops) to manage the symptoms?

Cheers to all-
