I need a second opinion on choosing either the Asus RT-N56U or the Netgear n600 (WNDR 3800)

$129.99
CPU Type = Ralink RT3662F P2Y2810G0 1027AT
CPU Speed = 500MHz
Flash Size = 8MB
RAM Size = 128MB

Data Transfer Rate = 300
WAN to LAN Throughput = 802.4

$149.99
CPU Type = Atheros AR7161
CPU Speed = 680MHz
Flash Size = 16MB
RAM Size = 64MB

Data Transfer Rate = 600 (300 + 300)
WAN to LAN Throughput = 335.3

The difference i've noticed is whether I'll want more RAM, but less flash memory and slower CPU speed, or higher CPU & Flash but less RAM.

Well, once again, ASUS is slick. I like the design. I didn't even know ASUS sold routers, so fuck me that looks sweet.

Is this for your home? Really, I doubt any home user can max out a router, so I'd probably go with the cheaper one in this instance, but I also always buy Linksys. I might actually go with the ASUS for the look. lol

I got the Asus, I'm glad I did.

Not only is it cheaper, but I got a $20 rebate, and it was editor's choice at CNET.
