Opioids Will using 240mg of DHC Continus (crushed) do anything to me right now ?

I'm normaly on 4-6mg of bupe a day and hold on fine, I have obtained an europe exclusive medication and formulation a while ago called DHC Continus 120mg, basically like our Codeine-Contins, but dihydro.

I've partied like a retard on stimulants, methylone and right now I only have 4mg of bupe till refill tuesday (once a week like methadone here). And I've got a really annoying low level headache and some aches and pains, you know the drill, even eyeballed etizolam and 30mg of diazepam 4 hours ago made me sleep 2 hours and that was it.

Can I use DHC over suboxone, since DHC is a full agonist, and if I take a big enough dose (a couple of those DHC 120's) will I feel anything, some pain killing at least ? I ask because I also got some Paramol along with it (500mg APAP/15mg DHC) and I'm wondering if I could just take 3-4 of these instead. I've never taken a full agonist over suboxone since it seemed retarded cos apparently it blocks opi receptors totally at like a 1mg.

Hope I can get some relief, it'll be more valium if so, but the less I take from my script the better.

Well generally 4 to 6 mg is where the blockade effect starts taking place. The DHC might break through it if you took a high enough dose (and I am NOT saying to take a big dose and I would have no idea at what dosage it would break through if it would, because I also do not know what else you normally take or what your tolerance is at). You could try taking a moderate dose and see what happens. Just be careful not to overdo it.

I take a small dose of bupe everyday for pain mgmnt (haha...really doesnt do much for me for pain) and am then prescribed opiates/opioids on top of that for breakthrough pain and I definitely get effects from the other meds..but my dose is only about 1 to 2 mg a day.

Thanks for the advice...yeah, an aunt of mine is on Butrans 20ug/h patches and Dilaudid 8mg for breakthrough pain. Since the BuTrans patch arrived in Canada they tossed Fentanyl as far as possible and have been more reasonable when it comes to IR medicine.


edit : I have taken 1 and a half (180mg) of IR'd DHC Continus. I passed on the Paramols, the less APAP in me the better. I remember liking the DHC high the one time I had it a long while ago and thought getting some more would be useful (to ween myself off bupe in the medium-near future).

So how did they do? Did you get any relief from them on top of the bupe?

Oh yeah, I managed to get high but most of it is forgotten, I fell into a nod and woke up almost exactly 1 hour later...so I'm def gonna repeat the experience, once I get at under 2mg of sub to take a day and will def be struggling to take less, I'm pretty sure it will help out.
