Bupe will this suboxone work? help

hi there, i am an occassional opiate user so don't really have much of a built up tollerence but i seem to have a very high natural one. anyway on the 2nd i did about 850mg of Dihydrocodeine and had a prettty nice time. next day i got 10 of the 8mg suboxone tablets so i snorted some (roughly .5mg at first) with no effect. i ended but sniffing like 4mg and not really getting any effects. would this be because the DHC was stil bound to the recepters in my brain?
basically if i were to snort some now would it take effect? (last time i had it was day before yesterday)
i just want to get high, not waste what i have and obviously primarily not overdose.
also is the naloxone in suboxone going to effect the bup buzz much?

If you still have other opiates in your system when you use Suboxone/buprenorphine, the buprenorphine will more than likely put you into precipitated withdrawals.

Some people (maybe even most people) can't get high on suboxone. It's not really designed for that and usually if you have any sort of opiate tolerance it won't get you high. It has helped me with withdrawals, given me a slight energy and mood boost, but I've never been able to get high off it.

may well be the same case for me then. how long is an insufflated dose meant to take to kick in?

Mixing benzos and opiates in low doses is okay, but its easy to take too much.

I would wait 24 hours at least after your last opiate dose before you take Suboxone, no matter which ROA you do (IV, snorting, etc).
