Will GBL dissolve polypropylene?

I need to measure GBL and my graduated cylinder lacks a plastic code number, but internet researching is telling me that it's made of polypropylene (PolyLab company). Another forum seems to indicate that this material is safe, although they seem to be referring to a firm and opaque polypropylene used in container lids; mine is translucent and soft.

Just wondering if anyone knows if it's safe to measure with this material. If I can't get a good answer then I'll go out and buy a pyrex measuring cup or something. Thanks

I'm no chemist but a little rummaging around suggests it is supplied in high-density polyethylene (HDPE), other plastics may contain it and polypropylene may well be OK but there is some concern about the GBL leeching plastics into the liquid out over longer periods of time. BASF recommend stainless steel !

I've used normal syringes brought from the local chemist it generally takes the black writing off after a bit but there not expensive, I used an empty Infcacol bottle with no problems but I've no idea what plastic it was made from, very handy with its built in pipet !
