Bupe Will a Dr still prescribe suboxone if I am already taking it on the street

I have an appt on thursday a "suboxone consultation" with my doctor. I am already taking at least 2 8mg suboxone a day and have been for a few months. when I cant get it I do dope or 30s. do you think this is gonna be a problem for the doc or do you think he will still help me out. my goal is really to do suboxone maintanence and ween off slowly. I really wanna get clean again but Im not sure if he will care that I am already taking the suboxone. anyone have any experience with this
 
Unfortunately we cannot tell you what your doctor is going to do, nor tell you how to get your doctor to prescribe something. Your best bet is simply to be honest; if you have an opiate problem and legitimately want to get on maintenance/detox then I would be shocked/surprised if they threw you to the curb. You should be ok.
