I was pretty blown away with this film. I started it not expecting to relate to the main character on so many levels (I had no idea that she was an ex junkie/sex addict). Beautiful film I watched it on Saturday night -it made me cry and then I immediately went on Amazon and ordered the book to my kindle.

The book is way, way better than the movie. I had read it before watching and was disappointed with how much detail of character development and story niuances were lost on the way.

imdb has it at 7.2/10

I thought 7 at most. Still, I enjoyed it and watched until the end, unlike some movies I try and watch. Worth a watch.

I haven't read the book.
