Psychology Why Smart People Believe Silly Things

All that energy and sheer wit can go dysfunctional too and so people whoareteallyamart are also making much worse decisions and having the dumleafs and they're also super immoral and I'm oral speaking this as a writer narrates his novel as he writes it.in a single sitting.

People who are smarter than you should be met with relentless hostility. One word from their other understandable to someone else thoughts - call them a BRAGGART SINNER.

And also heed this warging. The nice guys finish last in debate club too. They're all mean because they walk like a space alien or some one who's taking my order and also entering my info as she has fingers and I don't. And I'm also a customer.

Anyway they're very very evil and we should treat all eccentricities whatever that means as oooOoOOooHH CLASSY!

I guess smart people believe silly things because their income depends upon them believing those silly things. If you are being paid to believe those silly things then you'd better believe those silly things because you'd fucking starve or become homeless if you didn't.

Pretty simple stuff right?

It's hard to get someone to understand something when their paycheck depends upon them not understanding it.

Survival is more important than being smart. Oh, and this applies to doctors and other high professionals too. There's no denying it.

It's interesting that Gödel proved that some logical propositions are undecidable. I suggest that while people may not be aware of the formal logic used to show this, they sense that there exist 'unknowable' things. It may be the case that since people accept the unknowable exists, they might decide that any evidence is merely due to lack of a full dataset. That an axiom is missing and when that axiom IS added, a thing becomes knowable. But Gödel had covered this and showed that adding axioms can never alter the fact that some propositions (but mybe different ones) become undecidable.

So I guess I would say that probbility rather than certainty are more rational. But I'm sure hidden away I also believe things that are incorrect.
