Misc why roehypnol

Before i go to work id like to ask a question even though ive never tried it why do they call it the date rape drug as i think thats very strong so please correct me if im wrong, i mean has there ever been any known rapes in the media through taking rohypnol and surely if you take too much of any benzo in particular you dont know what the hell you have done or are doing but rape no , surely i would imagine a person who is capable of doing such a crime is that way inclined when sober probably thinks about it and maybe and im just guessing would take something like rohypnol to maybe go through with it. So i think its down to the individual and im sure not everyone who has tried rohypnol even thinks about things like rape only sickos so which takes me back to its meaning why is it called the date rape drug ? Hope ive explained this maybe stupid go some
