I'll be getting Midazolam again when going to the dentist. I'm honestly shocked at the cost. I thought it was simply a case of my previous dental surgeon charging me an exorbitant amount but they really are €300.

It can't be the benzo itself cause they're ridiculously cheap. Is it the fact that they need an anesthesiologist?

And no, they just iv you with it, that's just bollocks. Even a nurse can do it, EVEN I CAN ADMINISTER YOU WITG THE MIDAZOLAM.which I wouldn't call a medication that induces sedation tbh, just a bit sleepy and super fast acting...in 30min ure normal again.

What procedure are they doing on you,?

mate you're lucky, i was quoted £600

its the requirement for the staff to do it, they need to make sure you're safe etc can easily go wrong so they need some specialised qualitifcations.

in the end i still couldn't afford it and was getting so much pain that i just got them to prescribe me valium, they only gave me 20 mg but that was enough to make it a bit more tolerable.
