Lots of users are refusing to drive their cars into the city... the cops can actually impound your vehicle (u gotta pay $900 plus towing & storage to get it out) for just BEING in the hood.... if ur white and they think u r there to buy dope, they take ur car. No 'crime' even committed... they consider it a civil issue. Bullshit. What an infringement on basic constitutional rights.... and for what?? So the city has more money to pay out to corrupt cops and crooked mayors?? Shit.

Now they're following drug users who hop on the bus.... an following them to their county so that they can charge them with a felony. (minor possess. is a misdemeanor in detroit) And this is 'helping' how?? What a waste of time and money.

Sorry... had to vent. This shit pisses me off. Are these types of "nuisance abatement" ordinances in place in other cities?

There is ignorant pieces of shit like that all over and i Kno they out here too, but god damn that shit pissed me off, This shits insane. I kno madd ppl that take the train and bus to go cop, someties they follow sometimes they dont, but seein shit like "Why are white kids going to a black neighborhood on the bus obviousy its for drugs" WAT THE FUCK?!?!? Did the whole civil rights movement NEVER HAPPEN?!?? RAces aint free to associate with each other? White kids could not have NO possible reason to go to a black hood, like having a FRIEND, Boyfriend, Girlfriend, Relative (Because there ARE mixed families, you fuckin piece of shit redneck racist cops) or any othe r thing...And the important part is, IT DONT MATTER, becuz there is a right to move freely between neighborhoods so u shouldnt even have to justify it. I kno it aitn like that and shit will always be wrong n fucked up and tis just idealistic thinking and reality aint nothin close to it but still, its so wrong ...

The whole car confiscation thing is just a revenue generator for the city. I'm sure they figured out they are more likely to get cash out of someone to get their car back than they are if they hit them with a possession(which is a very minor offense in the city).

I know of one person who got a pay lawyer to get their car back for free. Sure they had to pay the lawyer a bit more than it would have cost to get their car, but at least they stuck it to the city.

Thats cool. Someone who fought back and won. Unfortunately, I rant & rave because I went through it myself (which is probably why the whole thing really gets to me) My car got seized, I had NOTHING on me. Hadn't even copped yet. They give you like 3 weeks to redeem your car... $900 PLUS towing & storage (about $50/day). I couldnt get the money together fast enough.... ASSHOLES. I guess its all part of the scheme.... without ur car you aint gonna get to work to earn the money to get it back.... your loss their gain.

fuck the pigs i wish i could get some ammo and a list of some of those people addresses. thats total bullshit the detroit pigs are shady as hell anyways but impounding your car for nothing is bullshit. we already have to deal with the pigs twice as much since we white but this is bullshit. fuck PIGGGGs i cant say this enough. and fuck anyone else who thinks they have the right to judge people.
