I am 5 ft 2 tall and weigh about 120-125. I think this is a good weigh to be at but I don't have a lot of muscle. Why do I feel chunky and always have the desire to lose weight?

Not sure hun, we're going to need a lot more info than that to really answer that for you though... :)

How old are you?
What is your diet like?
Do you have any food allergies?
Do you exercise?

If you diet isn't that great, e.g. lots of sugar, refined wheat products like white bread etc, not much fresh fruit or vegies, it could be that your body FEELS chunky and sluggish from the inside (regardless of what you look like on the outside). Improving your diet and making sure you're well hydrated could make the world of difference!
My best friend has felt fat and sluggish and has had nausea for pretty much her entire life (she's 29) and she only just found out that she's gluten-intolerant! Now she's on a gluten-free diet and feels amazing. The improvement in her inner health is astonishing :)

Exercising regularly (3-5 times a week) also makes you feel healthier from the inside, and improves your mood and confidence/self-image as well.

Rest assured though, you are a very appropriate weight for your height, and I'm sure you look very healthy. I dare say that if you actually lost any weight you'd start to look a bit sick/unhealthy :(

If you suspect these thoughts about losing weight are coming from some type of distorted body image kind of thing, that is a whole different ball game. If so, please feel free to PM me as I have been to hell and back with multiple eating disorders.

Be healthy and happy :) <3

Do you exercise? If not....start. It helps inside and out.
What is your diet like?

I am 5'5" and weigh 125-128. There are days when I feel soft and sluggish and this is usually related to PMS which is also the time that I say fuck you to exercise and have a hunger that cannot be satiated.

Only you can change the way you think and figure out the reasons of negativity.

I think that gaining muscle would only be helpful. Same with improving your cardio condition, and your flexibility. Exercise is the key.

You may feel chunky for of several different reasons or a combination, but the two most relevant may be
a) you have fallen prey to belief in an impossible body image that is sold by mass media on every available space
b) you are not energetic and positive about your body because you don't exercise (enough).

It is very easy to stop (b). Simply exercise (if you don't already; exercise more if you only do a little). I suggest an hour a day, 6 days a week. Walking is great, as are running, biking, and swimming, but for better overall balance add yoga and weightlifting. Do this for 2 months and see how your feelings about yourself change.

It is very difficult to stop (a). You must create a new, broader standard of beauty in your own mind. You need a lot of willpower, energy, and focus to overcome the brainwashing of the media. The biggest key I have found is to exercise, which gives me more willpower, energy, and focus. Meditation also helps.

Good luck!

I feel very good about myself when i go on walks. I can't exercise much because I use to swim breaststroke and it damaged my knee, so most forms of exercise hurt me really bad. I live at home and my family doesn't really eat very healthy either, I have acid reflux and so most veggies/fruits have a lot of acid in them and I'll brake out in rashes or high fevers or terrible stomach aches and throw up. On the other hand sometimes I don't have any symptoms either.
My New Years Resolution is to be Vegetarian, part time lol. Vegetarian during the week, and meat on the weekends. I think this and a combination of walks will help me feel better.
Also, my car just broke down on me so more of the opportunity to bunk with my boy and bike ride to work :]
