Why do Aussies pay so much for meth?

I have to guess something like, precursor availibility or gang controlled distribution???

The difference in price I have read about is absurd. Basically, I can get the better part of a pound for what a gram goes for.

It just doesn't make sense.

Meth is water soluble.

because aussies are not thoroughly educated in semitic languages I dare say. I wish I knew. It's a bit creepy thinking about the lack of forethought people put in to their drug purchases. it borders on eerie. but I think it's had its' day. those times represent gaps in certain layers of society that did not prosper too well.
 
I was honestly hoping someone would have some legitimate explanation, that way I was just ignorant to the situation.

So, how do they get strung out on such a small amount? Its like, "I do 0.1g a week, shit is crazzzyyy!"

I hope someone can enlighten me.
 
I watched an Assie documentary and there wad a "dealer" who was saying how he was doing "up to a gram per week" as if that was an unbelievable amount.

Dude....I saw a guy trade a gram for an N64 that didn't even work lol
 
I could give a stuff what people trade, but it seems like it represents some basic math even if it is the black market. I think dealers pay a higher price when found guilty by the courts for having engaged in these petty schemes but wouldn't say that higher costs do not deter people which is sometimes a good thing as well. many busts and siezures here in australia so it's good to see some federal bodies have been active in reducing distribution and consumption of the substance. more money in doing that you should hope.
 
I guess Australia is just an odd country in the sense that 'Broken Nintendo 64' is not usually considered a redeemable currency.

There also aren't many people manufacturing shake n bake meth in their car home, which is probably what leads to such a steep price increase in comparison to where you are.

If you want to do meth, that's fine, but talking down on others with habits because they don't use as much as you is poor form, especially when that 0.1 of Aussie meth would probably have you climbing the walls :)
 
With the amount of seizures, where I live I was expecting fan increase.

If I could order it from a cheaper continent I would but there isn’t much I can do.

The quality also differs.
Which I don’t know why either never had a problem till recent. But can definitely tell the difference right away so I’m sceptical even paying a minor bit extra as I’ve been caught your befor
 
Hello, this is a question very relevant up untill late last year.

The absolutely massive ammounts of meth thats flooded Melbourne and Sydney this last year has seen prices drop to a 1/4-1/5.

As it stands now, the prices in Australia are not even double those in the US.

A few years ago they were 5-8X. I never ever thought I would be buying 8balls for what a half gram cost in 2016ish. And half grams now in the mid-high two digits $XX

Yeah that isn't a good representation. Its of no harm reduction value going into this aspect futher, but I will say for a documentary that was a poor reflection. I know many people that unfortunately use 7x that some more.
 
in NZ the triads have been flooding the market with tons of meth leading prices to drop to a 1/3 of what it was. Same with aussie.

Australian and NZ meth comes from china and the golden triangle pure psudeo made D-meth american meth would barly hit a nz or aussie user that shit is beyond trash less than 50% d-meth

Some of the most hardcore users are using 3-4g of d-meth a week til they get locked up for robbing so much houses or during stim psychosis.

A average hit of that pure asia meth is probably 10-20 mg and will have you fucking wide awake as a first time user for a day.

I had a friend who started using and within a month he had lost his entire life savings after working for 8 years. Used 1-2 grams a day

Yeah, whenever somebody brags about how high there use it, you can rest assured there's somebody out there that makes them look like a first-timer
 
first time I did not have a high opinion of the stuff. I was in a room full of queers. insane. I wonder how far they strayed from the pipe cohort in the end. hmmmmmm. one can never be too sure.
 
I don't know why aussies pay top dollar for our meth compared to the price of meth in the USA (most likely has something to do with bikies controlling majority of the trade), can you imagine how many hard core tweakers and methtards you'd see running riot on the streets if our prices dropped down to what they pay in the USA lol
 
Because Australia is an Island, that makes all drugs harder to import and therefore more expensive.
 
Everything seems more expensive there. I just about shit when when I heard what some of my friends there have to pay for guitars and other stuff.
