why 3 bad rolls in a row?

A friend of mine has rolled 4 times, the first time was really good (eightball), but she came down really hard and got really depressed. The second and third time she had a really bad roll but her friends had the same kind and they were fine. The Fourth time was good (sunshine). She said she thought it was all in her head because she was afraid of getting sad again, but she couldn't control it. Could it really be psychological or could it be something else?
 
It can definitely be psychological. MDMA doesn't make you happy, it just tends to enhance the way you feel already. Trust me, if you are sad, anxious, depressed you might have a good roll (if you're lucky), but most likely it will suck.
I've had plenty of bad (or non-eventful)rolls on really good pills when I worried too much about it, instead of just letting it happen.
