Women of BL! Opinions on beards? Is it attractive or just a preferable taste to the individual?
Also, if you do like hair on the man's face, which gets you going most?

I'm curious because I'm growing mine to a glorious length at the minute just because I can. Any insight will be fun to know.

(I'm sure this is the right place to post)

Personally, I'm not a fan of them. But I'm just one person :P
I like it when my boyfriend is clean shaven.

imo i do not find any facial hair on a man attractive. plus when a mans face is clean shaven its so smooth for kissing and other things.... i know beard hair is long and not pricky/stubby and stuff but clean shaven is best for me imo.

Fair, I know a few lasses that do like it. Must be very particular.

I think a heavy (strong) beard can put some girls off. I am mostly surrounded by people who are partial to metal music like myself. There are a few more men with beards (or long hair) in that area.

it really depends, some guys can pull it off some cant.

Definitely yes to dishevelled stubble or smaller beards. Anything more bushy can be a bit off-putting. (Though I know a few girls that will pounce on a guy if they see a proper bushy beard on him.)

I like all types of guys. I don't really care either way. =D

I love the variety of answers in this thread! some people LOVE beards. some people HATE them. :)

I'm pretty much growing it all over. I trim it every few weeks to keep it neat. It's full and I'm growing the tash and I can now curl it at each side.

I just need to get some wax so I can tame the tash. I'm thinking about how it would feel for the girls too buuuuuut if she likes beards I'm sure she won't mind....

I get a few compliments from guys but I think this is mostly because they aren't very good at growing one themselves. So they appreciate it when they see one. Or become jealous, who knows.

I just want to standout when I go to college mainly. It creates character.

I've grown to despise beards, entirely due to the stupid social movement about beard = man; no beard = girl....which really, REALLY rustles my jimmies (even though it shouldn't, lol) given I cannot grow acceptable facial hair for shit. I use a stubble trimmer once a week, lol...

IMO, given that males are the physically stronger of the two genders entirely due to hormones etc, I'd suggest strength is a much better measure of the man...and by God I know a few fkn HOT girls who could blow some of these unkempt skinny jeans wearing, latte sipping, instagram posting hipster faggots a run for their money - assuming said hipsters don't break a few bones in the process of trying to bench even half their body weight.

No, I'm not even mad....though I will admit I'm a little jealous of not being able to grow a decent beard...even if I still think it wouldn't suit me :P

^Hahaha you sound so butt-hurt while trying to not sound butt-hurt. My face just looks better with a beard. But I still get people telling me to shave it. People just assume if your an attractive guy with a beard you'd look even better if you shaved. Not true for me. Even had an old g\f ask me to shave it once only to ask me how long until I could grow it back later that night... Dumb bitch.

Yeah beards look great on some men and terrible on others, same with clean shaven. Depends on your face..

I keep mine at short stuble length, clean shaven makes me look like im 14 years old.

I hate having a beard. The feel and to a lesser extent (I guess?) the look - though it is always sort of interesting to let it grow, as my hair is blond and my beard is rather dark brown.
But having hair around my mouth bugs the hell out of me, even though my girlfriend likes it, it feels unattractive to me. Not my aesthetic I suppose.
I tend to let it grow when I'm spending a bit of time in the country or something. Maybe once a year or something, to remind me why I go to the effort of shaving my face every morning.
Have neatly trimmed sideburns but prefer to be clean-shaven besides that.
