White Rock Opium

I read on erowid, that "White Rock Opium", is, not real opium, but they weren't sure what it was.
I have read through all the posts in this forum, and am unable to find anything pertaining to "White Rock Opium".
The rocks look like rock salt, the smoke, tastes and smells like opium, and you get a "opium-like" buzz from it. (very "high" feeling, which "waves" of "contentment"), which leads me to believe that it is simply not just insense (like in the case of red rock incense).
But-- If erowid says it's not opium, Does anyone know what this substance could be?

this question has been posted on here many times, i have had the same stuff. You will not find a straight, positive answer, but i can definitely assure you the white rock opium i had was no incense.

i had the same shit as well and still to this day have no clue if it was real opium or not. there was nothing that suggested that it was fake.

I smoked some out of a freshly cleaned pipe, (w/no weed) from baseline, and I definately got some kind of buzz. I find it hard to believe that this could be the placbo effect at work, since I am fairly experienced with psyedelics, and can generally tell when a substance is effecting me, and how.
I'm not saying it's opium, cause it's probably not.. i'm just trying to figure out what it could be...

In my experience, people who smoke it with pot (99% of people doing white rock opium) get a good buzz from it, but try smoking it straight...
I recently had some white rock opium that gave you a buzz if you smoked a gram of it straight, and even then it might be like one hit of some good pot...
Seems like it might be a psychosomatic high, or some reverse placebo effect is going on, odd how most people only report success when they smoke it with some fucking pot...

I came across the stuff. Felt barely nothing by itself but i did with pot. I think the chances are that it is fake , or real LOW levels of opium in it I don;t believe there is such thing as red rock

I had some of this stuff about 2 months ago. I took about 4 hits out of a pipe (with no pot) and it definatly had me in a almost warm opiate bliss. I say almost because it didn't have that quality of making everything tolerable like the opiates do. But seriously, I highly doubt this shit has any opiates in it at all.
So, I would also like to add my name to the list of people that wanna know what this shit is.

A reliable source tells me that much of the white rock opium that "works" is actually heroin. Which is quite plausible.
Red Rock is unequivocably bunk, however.
Neither of them are actually opium, of course.

Who or what is your reliable source. Some people believe that their acidhead buddy who has been trippin since the 80s is a reliable source for tips on making acid.
