It's been sold (and drunk) here for years. I prefer White Star. Good ol' cheap cider....you used to be able to get a litre for 99p and it gets you pissed. Only spend 10 quid and you'd get plastered.
Wouldn't drink it now im older though, it gives me bad stomach pains. I used to tank that shit daily for a while. Classy.

Am I the only one who suspects that vendors are just making up catchy names and attaching them to whatever they have in stock so that no-one even knows what chemical they're supposed to be getting, let alone whether they're actually getting it?

This is true. The liquor store I go to got a letter, and a last batch they could get.
This is my favorite brand of cider. There is a lot of it left floating around, but it is in fact discontinued.
Heineken doesn't make it anymore.
There must be tonnes of it floating around here! Its very popular here, in fact, yesterday I saw 2 empty crushed bottles in the street. Classy.
