I remember in rehab, there were people nodding out to their subs which I never understood- if you're a heroin addict, with a decent tolerance, subs are really going to effect you in that way?

When is tolerance to heroin too large to get any enjoyment out of subs? Any opinions? I was snorting about a gram a day, and never got any enjoyment out of subs at any dose whilst during the run...
