I am in my mid 40’s and didn’t start taking anything until about ten years ago.
I never drank before 21 and even then I still only drink maybe a half dozen times a yr.
never did any drugs until about a decade back and habe only tried oxy, weed and Xanax.
I dislike weed...

when did you start and with what drugs?

I guess I was a straight laced kid...
it just seems weird that I know have my life all situated and started ...
married over 20 years, 2 adult kids and a teen, been running a business for over ten years as well, just seems backwards

I started on weed, codeine, tramadol, dihydrocodeine, poppy tea, diazepam, triazolam, midazolam, shrooms, lsd, mdma, methylphenidate all within 17-18 yrs old. Got dependent on opioids quickly and largely knowingly because they were the only thing that helped my depression and anxiety. Shot up morphine sometime after 18 and heroin at 20.

Was in rehab for 21st birthday and swore I’d never go back there. Kept using after, all sorts of opioids mainly. Then got on buprenorphine for a couple years and methadone since. Dabble sometimes but mostly just take my scripted meds and smoke weed now

I had Communion wine at 7 but I didn't take any recreational drugs till I was 19

Whatever they IVed my mom with as a placenta covered fetus, but not on my own until i got high and drunk the summer before high school.

I never drank alcohol until i was 13

I never smoked cannabis until i was 14

I never took mushrooms until I was 15

I never took acid until I was 16

I never IVd speed and heroin until I was 17

I never had an opiate addiction until i was 30

I never took MDMA until I was 35

I never became an alcoholic until I stopped taking (a lot) of drugs.

That’s a crazy life man, are you still a regular user of those drugs?
a friend of mine offered to do mushrooms with me, I have struggled with depression my whole life and he claims it helps. I may take him up on it but I’m a bit nervous about it

My entire family smokes weed and have since I can remember. I was 28 when I tried it.
25 brought on benzos, and 26 was pain meds for a neck fusion. Been on both ever since.

12 years old daily cigarettes. 13 years old alcohol every weekend. 14 years old regularly smoking cigarettes and weed with amphetamines on weekends. 15 years onward lots of amphetamines 3-4 days of a week. That was for starters...

The first drug that activated my brain was Nicotin, I loved the rush.

It was a joint so after 10 15 minutes the typical stoner high sort of mingled itself through that rush of Nicotin or whatever there is in Tobacco that gives you that godly good feel.

Took me years to figure that out. The two seperate high's thing.
