Let's see..

I'm 22 in october... I just done serving 5 months two weeks ago.
I was addicted to oxies and heroin since I was eighteen.. so about four years.
Ironic thing is i'm glad now I got that time.. it was the only thing that got me sober...even tho i had to kick in a cell. :X
I still fuck around of course, but shit who doesn't.
Did the whole rehab thing three times.
Didn't work for shit.
Never really cared about anything when I was using.
I woke up in jail twice because of zannies..
Drinking and blazing since i was twelve.
I used to love crushing up my zannies in my lean "Promethazine" aka sizzurp
n wash it all down with an 80.. of course..
To tell you guys the truth, I still love it, and im 5 months clean off opiates.
I think about copin 80's everyday, it fucking blows..
Wonderin if anyone else is in the same boat.. OR if theres anyone who knows how long it takes for the mental temptations to go away, i'd appreciate it.
I'm down to talk to whoever, hit me up.

What's up man, I'm new to this place too but Im kuna on the same boat as you(- the jail time), I was addicted to vicodin for a year and 7months spent time in rehab and I have been clean from opiates for 2 months now and I know it's not to long but it's a start. And even though I'm clean from that I still like to get stoned and mess around with other shit. Even though the rehab helped me with my opiate problem that's about it, I still take speed occassionaly and I must say if your interrested I suggest ambien as an easy to obtain drug that is very fun to take. It's def one of those drugs that you wouldn't think could get as high as it does(including hallucinating and other fun stuff) honestly just one can get you pretty high your first couple times.

But that's just a little about myself.
 
Haha right on. Yeah speed occasionally is fun, carefull though that shit can creep up on you.
Congrats on your two months bro..ONE day clean is an accomplishment, opiate addiction is a bitch.
 
Haha yea man true that. They burrowed that into my head in rehab. And yea I'm careful with pretty much all drugs I take now, I had a really good friend of mine OD on heroin, ever since then I try to make sure I don't over do it. You know unless I'm just smokin bud then it really doesn't matter.
 
Whats up man cool meeting you... I would say be careful with that shit but obvioously you got more experience haha and damn this was meant to be your lifestyle and hope your doing good

Kinda hate to say this, but you'll never forget the feeling of opiates, but what you have to keep in mind is that each time you do them, the farther you get from that first unbelievable rush and you'll NEVER get there again. Its like trying to find the end of the rainbow: You know its there 'cause you can see the rainbow, but you just can't ever quite get there.

So, do yourself a favor: Don't chase the lie!!!!

I guess all you can do is do one day at a time n go to meetings.
All of my friends use.. not some or most but ALL.
EVERYONE in this fucking city uses i cant get away from it
its a fucking disease im not exadurating everyone is on drugs.. i even smoke with parents

I'm sorry for your loss bro :(

Ive known 8 ppl who have died from drugs alone.
I know from experience it NEVER gets any easier.
It got so bad last year that during a 5 month time period someone died every month.
People dont understand the danger of drug addiction untill its to late, usually someone dying.
If you think about it people like us are a dying breed. People with our disease die every single day. Get out early

but ey im not an experienced user im only 17 but i was guna say if you want to forget the feeling just change your lifestyle..like do things that DONT remind you of it get me? but yea even i would still chill with my old friends that use..but yea man good luck
damm on my last 15mg oxy haha im in for a ride if this guy dont come through

i cant take 15mg oxies ill need like 5 of em bitches

im used to the 80mg's but since those dont exist anymore "the legit ones"
ive been coppin 30mg roxies, 40 mg oc's , or sacs of black
 
Hi Resin,
I'm sort of new to bluelight too. It's difficult when everyone you associate with is using and you're trying to stay clean. You mentioned rehab three times and I've tripled that in my lifetime. As soon as I got out, I went back to the same shit, it's like that proverbial monkey on your back that never leaves.
Making that decision to stop using is your first step. They tell you at rehab, 90 meetings in 90 days but I didn't care for them. I can't really offer you any good advice because I'm struggling as well. It's hard to just stop associating with all your old friends. But I know people in NA that have made great strides and hope you can get through this...theresa
