you cant ask about buyin it.

its illegal under the Analog Act, that being said it cant be purchased in the USA from a retailer

i've heard it tastes horrid, and it has synthetic cannabinoids in it i believe, they prob vaporize at a different temperature than THC does

Well shit, after learning all this toxicity and untested side effects, I'd rather stick with weed. Waitin around for good weed is better than tryin to get high off somethin that probly tastes like shit. The one time I've got $20 to throw around nobody is out n about to sell the green:( For a state with medical marijuana, shits sure gotten rough for us unemployed recreational users

I've never tried it, but I want to, there's other chemicals too that are similar that people say have very good effects. It is NOT illegal under the US analog act because they are not structurally similar to THC at all, it only acts on the CB receptors like cannabis.

I suggest growing your own if you can, maybe you could make some money, but you could get in trouble for that big time! I'm growing some in my backyard because I'm broke, just gotta be patient and take care of your plants. I don't think growing in your backyard is hard as you think and as long as you can keep your plants hidden from neighbors (my plants are hidden where you can't see them from the sky, but they do get sunlight) Sadly I only got one female (I think) and its still pretty small and has duck foot leaves.

ummm idk really kno were U could get it......but my local skate/hemp shop has it in the backroom. try somewere like that. and yes it is legal (i smoked it out of a ghetto bong in the parking lot after the kid bought it, it felt wierd there was all these cars drivin right past us) lol. but its alright. it really will get u high.....but not stoned......if u catch my drift. its a big headbuss but ur not a chill high. ur kinda wired up. it made me really giggly and interactive with my surroundings and u dont have to smoke much at all i cleared two little bowls and was high as fuck, it kicks in fast.......and kinda dies off sooner than pot too. overall i woulda rather just smoked some erb but it was cool. i think id be chillin to lace my shit with some spice. but its kinda expensive. go for it tho man

and no it dosnt taste that bad. it looks like really fluffy cottony dankems. lol

mabey i was wrong about the illegal part then cus this guy sounds like hes knows what hes talkin about

There are a few spice types with different taste.
Redmand Headband said very nice that "it really will get u high.....but not stoned". It's a different type of high than mj induced.
I recommend the bong...

I also find spice to be distinctly chemical feeling compared to real weed. You know how different strains feel different? With spice, the platinum brand always has similar chemical high to it. If you can't get weed or are being drug tested, spice is a decent alternative. Otherwise, I would suggest sticking to real weed.

Spice is really only an alternative for the desperate or naive. It tastes horrible, has a shitty consistency that makes it difficult to roll with or pack a bowl, and has an uninteresting, two dimensional high. Add to that the fact that it's no cheaper than the real thing, and that its active principle is a novel and possibly dangerous chemical, and spice is a bum choice. The pleasure of smoking cannabis is not just in the effects, and there is no way that this sickly stuff can compare to the enjoyment gained from a delicious piece of high grade hash, or a well grown sativa.
As for the legality issue, JWH-018 is indeed of a completely different structure to THC; however, your analogue law covers anything that is substantially similar in structure or effect to a scheduled substance. Believe me, this vague catch-all law could certainly be interpreted as covering the synthetic cannabinoids in Spice (as well as pretty much any chemical under the sun)

Actually its still legal and doesn't fall under the analog act, it needs to be structurally similar.

Right you are, apologies, I thought that either similar structure or similar effect was sufficient. Although I remember Shulgin writing something about how "substantially similar" was a vague term, and that pretty much any chemical could be argued to be substantially similar to a controlled substance. Also, the act seems to say that just the fact that people are using it to have an effect close to that of a banned drug makes it an analogue:

"(iii) with respect to a particular person, which such person represents or intends to have a stimulant, depressant, or hallucinogenic effect on the central nervous system that is substantially similar to or greater than the stimulant, depressant, or hallucinogenic effect on the central nervous system of a controlled substance in schedule I or II.

But Erowid states:

The US Federal Analague Act has 3 parts:

1. 'chemical substantially similar'

AND EITHER
2. effects similar to substance in Schedule I or II
3. OR someone represents it as having the effect of a controlled substance

So it probably hinges on the "Substantially Similar" as Yerg points out.

Well its still legal as far as I know, Spice is still sold and many places still ship to the US (even if they state it I believe)

US drug laws are so dumb lol, weed is in the highest schedule even though it does have many acceptable uses, yet drugs that do have medical use but are more "dangerous" like heroin are in the lower schedule. Psychedelics also have medical use, such as for cluster headaches.

Be nice if they never made the analog act, it would be easy to get around the laws haha.

Spice is seized by customs because of reports of it containing HU-210 which is a C1 substance, not because of the JWH family cannabinoids.

That being said, JWH and friends are making their way into more and more 'legal highs' each day and it won't be long before it's as prevalent as salvia is (and as equally targeted by authorities; remember salvinorin is probably only still legal because of its novelty as a kappa agonist)

Enjoy it at your own risk, while it lasts.

Spice Arctic Synergy is the closest feeling to a nice Indica strain of Cannabis, it gets you stoned.

Spike 99 Ultra, Smoke XXX, Zohai RX are all like your heady Sativa strains of Cannabis.

Genie is like an indica/sativa hybrid

There are a bunch of products out there that aren't Spice that contain Cannabinoids that will definitely get you high. If you cant figure out how to use or acquire pure jwh-018 or jwh-073 then I'm sure for most people "smoking blends" will suffice. Those who smoke Cannabis daily and then try Spice or other smoking blends are usually pretty surprised (especially when it's a decent blend like one of the ones I mentioned above) by how high/stoned they get

look into finding pure JWH-073 or JWH-018.
I <3 JWH-018. It's a lovely cannabis like high, but with a clearer mind and the effects don't last as long. I'm going to be bummed when it's illegal.
I wouldn't use the spice mixtures for a couple reasons.
1- they're sold as smoking blends which although JWH's are legal, it being sold as a smoking blend means you intend to consume it. I know the DEA confiscated a bunch of spice a few months ago. I think if it's sold for human consumption your looking for more trouble than something that is sold for research only. If it's for research purposes then it's completely legal but if you intend to consume it you might be breaking laws (in some places). I'm not sure if this is completely correct but it's based on the fact that the DEA confiscated a bunch of spice, so I'm assuming that if it's for human consumption, the DEA will twist words to make it illegal.

2-You have no idea what stuff they add to those smoking blends. pure JWH-018 has a dose of around 1mg for starters, so you'd be smoking a ton of spices and who knows what just to get that mg or 2 dose. Also there is some question over the safety of JWH's, so IMHO you're best off at least smoking pure stuff, to minimize some potential health risks.

You won't be disappointed, I just tried 018 for the first time this week and I think it's absolutely amazing (so long as its not really unhealthy...and it seems the jury is still out on that one), so tread carefully. But around 3mgs of JWH-018 gets me high as fuck for 2-3 hours and it doesn't have a lingering burnt feeling. Don't get me wrong, I'd prefer headies but for the price and availability you can't go wrong. Plus in a few years you can talk about how you used to be able to buy JWH's legally.

Marijuana and Heroin are in the same schedule, ironically.

I am not sure what got lost in translation but JWH-018 is still legal in the USA.
