i got blood work done and my tyleol levels were 2.0 with a ref range .1-10

at what stage does liver failure start to occure ?

2.0 mcg/mL? That's quite negligible. anything up to 150mcg/mL up to 4 hours after ingestion is low risk, and anything over 200 is associated with liver toxicity.

10-20mcg/mL is considered a therapeutic dose.

This is for single doses though an your reference range is different. Ask your doctor for more information on your particular results. As long as you're not exceeding about 3-4,000 mg/day you should be safe.
