What were the strangest store fronts you encountered?

I'm curious if other BLers have interesting stories about vendors hiding in plain sight.

I remember a shop that sold "palm tree clippings" where different species of tree clippings were different substances.

The only two things that come to mind was a festival of 10,000+ that had a bar with drugs for sale, plain as day with a sign that said "LSD - $, Cocaine - $, Hash - $, MDMA - $" with the prices. Was awesome to see that kind of freedom, though I heard they had to bribe police.

The other was a head shop, that also functioned as a "smart shop", where you could buy all kinds of weed, mushrooms, acid, etc, on display in the glass. There was an off duty uniformed cop with a sawed off shotgun guarding it.
