I got a nasty headbut in the face 10 days ago. Firstly I look in resonably good shape now considering what the swelling was like at the time; secondly I don't even know the loony so this was an unprovoked attack. I went down to the hospital afterwards and they said he broke my nose so they booked an appointment for today where they are doing a five minute operation on Friday morning to see if they can get the bridge of my nose any straighter as it's a wee bit crooked presently. I didn't get any sleep or medication that night but woke up the following morning with two black eyes also. I was wondering if you guys think I am entitled to any pills to go home with after the operation. I have been told that they use ketamine to send me to sleep but I find this difficult to believe. Any ideas?

What happens is you get all rigged out in saftey equipment with a load of wires plugged to you're chest, arm band & a clip on you're finger. They measure you're pulse, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation. Next thing the inject you with 'something to calm you down'. I was trying to find out what but next thing you know I had been injected with the go to sleep drug. It's shocking how suddenly you sink into loss of conciousness. I wake up an hour later with a spikey headache & a plaster over my nose but no blood this time. I want to know what the first drug was that they gave me because it came from the 'Fentanyl' cupboard. Is it possible that this is what they could have given me?

Who knows? You should be able to get a couple days worth of hydrocodone, maybe even oxycodne (in the form of Percocet, NOT OXYCONTIN!) ... just follow the advice in the countless other posts where peoples asked for advice on making the mostfrom procedures such as this..
IMO, the most IMPORTANT THING YOU DO is make sure you file suit against your attacker! Set the high aside long enough to make sure you get this shit rolling - I was picked on a lot in high school, and made several thousand in suing these kids (a total of 4 kids, 3 settled out of court for cash) for things as petty as pusshing me down and kicking my books ... remember, money buys more drugs!

Versed would be that seditive they gave you... the most common cocktail is Fentanyl and Versed, sometimes they will use another opioid for anagelisa, and you will even see ketamine in this mix from time to time... as I have said before, I would LOVE to have my wisdom teeth taken out again ONLY to enjoy the sedation! Sadly you only get one set
