To follow PeRvErTs post about who's taking a break, I thought I would create a post about things to do with your weekend when your not friing your brain and caning it on the dance floor. I got a few good ideas of my own:
Golf (Takes ages and you can drink beer).
Drink beer (Or copious amount of any other intoxicating liquid).
Horse riding (But you'll feel the pain the next day).
Dust off the playstation.
Go for long pointless drives with the musik cranked up.
Catch up with old friends (Better yet freak them out by wearing your rave clothes to their house).
Wash Car (If your like me and only wash your car annually this can take a whole weekend).
Watch rave flicks for that little fix.
Contemplate your naval (Not very exciting but it does fill in the time).
Anyone else got any weird, wacky, zany or just plain boring ideas for filling in the time. Hmm three more weekends left, what to do!

"Well I have actually and it turns out that the devil is a real top bloke."

...sit in jb's bar talking shit and getting drunk while helping him not to go broke and starve to death. Presuming you live in wonderful Melbourne, where there's nothing else to do 'cos its raining!

Keep going out, without the drugs...
...and then reading, watching movies with friends (tho my friends know this doesn't happen much), catch up with friends (will be doing this once uni is completely outta the way), go shopping (gonna need some money for this one :/), cleaning house/car...

Break?? What's that?? Oh, you mean like when you have to study for exams and stuff... I usually get sort-ed for the next time that I'm going out (Velocity!!), watch good movies on Foxtel (Fight Club at the mo) or work.

no seriously, I try to just do my normal everyday activities but being abit more aware to other things that might be interesting to do, or things that I haven't done for a long time.
at the moment, it's drawing of course with a bit of reading thrown in, oh yeah, and drinking heaps.

I'm in the same boat at the moment. My brain feels so fried (from Godskitchen still)...and l'm going to take like a 2 month break (i hope). But, l'm going insane with all of this time on my hands and nothing to do.
The TV is like already boring and, well, l think that l might turn into a full blown alco by next weekend....ohh well, nothing else to do....can't wait to get back into it again...ohhh....l miss those weekends.
Does anybody else think that they fly by to quickly....

It's not the Friday/Saturday nights that are the problem. It's the Sundays/Mondays when you used to be too spaced out to realise that you weren't doing anything, and the Tuesdays that used to be filled up bemoaning "Ravers' Tuesdays" On a break your week seems to double in length! Or is that just me...

Catching up with friends is a really good idea. Ezpecially sober frens! Play some pool and have some beer in a pub.
I am trying to psycho myself as well that I will be fine when i go on a break but i know that it will be so difficult. Im learning to go out clean and hae some great fun as well! Hope that some of you can provide some really good suggestions. But in the end, it is still all up to OURSELVES.
